Kinda sad that there’s no Diddy but this DLC was awesome.
I felt the same way, but finding out they made Rabbid Cranky just because Diddy Kong or Dixie Kong were too predictable did kinda make me chuckle.
That was a huge missed opportunity

@@bgl0505 Dixie is not as predictable as Diddy yes, but if you were told “Diddy will not be in this game.” Dixie Kong is most likely the next character everyone would expect. But again I do see that Dixie would still be considered somewhat a surprise, just not as surprising or unexpected as Cranky. (Or in this case Rabbid Cranky).

This DLC can get really difficult. 100 percenting this was wild 😳.
The final challenges were insanely hard, it took me hoursto figure out
I could 100% it with a bit of challenge if it wasn’t for the damn ultimate challenge 3 since that’s i think the one where you need to destroy the bananas while there are like 50 rabbids on the map
@@tvs26 Ultimate challenge 2 is "stop the Smugglers" (which TBH would've been more fun with being able to zoom out the camera), Ultimate challenge 3 is the "destroy bad bananas"

By the way Choctopus. You can use Donkey Kongs grab ability to carry your own teammates with you and throw them. Its useful
I really love how the crazyness of the Rabbids isn't annoying in this game, but really enjoyable
Especially in Sparks of Hope.

I love the DK dlc so much, as easy as I found it (until near the very end) Tho that’s probably cause of how much practice I had with the base game being difficult.

To this day, I've never beaten this dlc, and that is purely because of Finn. He made me rage so hard that I haven't played the game in years.

1:25 Its interesting that while the Mario designs are pretty consistent, even outliers like Pauline, there seems to be two models of Donkey Kong depending on whether they need him to be more... hunched and gorillaesque? or bipedal?

People complain about Donkey Kong being in another Dimension from Mario...but the implied global politics in Donkey Kong Country and Mario said to have come from New York...I figured it made sense for Cranky (the original DK) to go to another dimension to get as far away from Mario as possible

I hope at some point Choc does a run through other (less popular) Donkey Kong games. I know _Donkey Kong 64_ can be painful to play, but it would be entertaining to watch! 😅I highly recommend playing _DK Jungle Climber_ on the DS! Honestly, it is one of the most underrated Donkey Kong games. Well, that or _Donkey Kong Jungle Beat_ !
Btw idk if you know this, but theres already a DLC coming for the second game (Already confirmed on the official nintendo twitter account). For rayman. They actually revived him, just for him to starr in a game about characters in his franchise

@Choctopus Little fun fact, the collectors and mid-bosses can basically move around the whole map because last I remember they had 36 movement cells, but don't quote me on that
