    I love all your talks. May I share a very, unimportant bit of trivia...From my study of Latin and a very minuscule info on the Julian and Gregorian calendars, A.D means Anno Domini ( the year of the Lord...anno means year...Domini means of the Lord...
    Might be useful...so trivial, though...
    1 A.D. is the 1st year that supposedly was the year Lord Jesus was born...The Catholic Church still had lots of political power then and had sway over much of the Western world, the the politically powerful pope just decided he can re-organize the calendar ( in the Western world at that time where his influence was sweeping) around the historical Jesus...

    Same thing in Scotland/ireland with john. Celtic ppl integrated christianity well
