47:00 - So ATAL just informed us that all cat pictures were lost? O_o :((( "Tell me about cats" is a great thing to say to another person. Great conversation starter
There is just so much to think about and possibly very clever injections into the story. Did you notice that Mabon and Euhemeros were visually and stylistically identical (down to their speech patterns?) Also, they were 72 and 73. Were they some kind of twins in the simplified simulation (I'm guessing by already having the 'knowledge' or preprocessing of the golden disc?) Euhemerism is the ancient Greek idea that the mythos of gods originates in tales of actual humans. That even kind of makes sense based on their bus stop conversation. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some tendril that connects their mannerisms to popular drama gangsterisms of the 1940-50s. I am going through TTP-2 myself right now and will only follow your playthrough behind my progress but it is great seeing it from different eyes. I watched both previous installments of the the series I didn't catch that during my game but only noticed it watching someone else play.
Solving all puzzle rooms is not necessary to beat the game, but I would highly recommend it. The golden puzzles are really challenging mind-benders (at least relatively), and solving them all provides a satisfying reward
Jen you missed 2 dialogues in new Jerusalem right next to town hall: Helga and the grass cutting guy. The are both on the central street, Helga is after kiosk
Found this channel when I was looking for a Gehenna play-through in advance of playing TTP2. I laughed out loud when I realized you were approaching new buildings the way I do, except you tend to go counterclockwise. Anyway, I hope you're enjoying this game, and I look forward to watching your play-through continue! I won't spoil anything, obviously, but I will say that I loved it! Also, Yaqut is my favorite character, but all the writing and VO is stellar, IMO.
There's a compass at the top of the screen with icons that help you find your way to various locations. In the options menu you can enable the compass to show question marks as well, these are point of interest. If you prefer to search and explore yourself, have it not show the question marks. Ah you just noticed the compass. Good. :) I can tell you're really into this game, isn't it great? Enjoy.
Aaaah, Milton's rest. So many cats. Devs and beta testers had many cats.
I hoped you wouldn't miss this location. Not disappointed.
I read that most of the cats pictured there are still alive, the epitaphs are just for the in-game lore. 😺👍
@@arodin That makes sense.

Yep, that will be 10 minutes of cat pictures. I'm sad i didn't find that shrine myself, I'm glad i saw you seeing it
Ayyy finally, been waiting all week for part 2! 🙏
Keith David voiced a character called Goliath in the Gargoyles cartoon back in the day. It's a hyper-specific reference.
ah probably should have guessed something like that. thanks!

Cried when you reached Milton's Rest 😭

Thanks for letting me know but in the future I'd prefer to simply discover this on my own. I'll revisit areas I've been to.

Did they record a yard brush for the cat petting sound?
I really liked your playthrough of Talos 1, and so far I really like this playthrough too.
Question: What is your upload schedule (if you have one)?
it's "whenever I have time" at the moment!
@@bardicjen7495 thank you for the answer
I literally played that game four times and failed to find a breakthrough every single time and i hate you and you should become a politician
😂
@@bardicjen7495 you will not have my vote (unless you have cat ears)
I subbed because of kittens.
