I got Rose and Romance today and your description is spot on. At first snif I was thinking it was a bit too mature but then the more I smelled it the more it was what you said - not too mature but just like it was a fragrance from an earlier decade and so nostalgic (though I can't pinpoint exactly why). I put it on to wear to bed tonight because it just smells so soft and comforting.

Rose and Romance is so lovely. The rose in this one is the best rose scent I have ever experienced in a perfume. I live in an area of Texas know for acres and acres of rose fields. They are grown for nursery stock, garden centers and the florist industry. I know a real rose when I smell it and Khadlaj seems to know also.

I love the nostalgic French roses as they are very fragrant but drawback is they bloom only once a year. The English roses are nice and bloom a lot but they are labour intensive as they are so prone to disease. I do love roses so much so I appreciate nicely done rose fragrances🤗. Have a nice evening🥰 🥀

I am really looking forward to Janoon as I have only heard good things about it🤓. When I got Velvet Gold it was on sale so I jumped on it as the perfumerie was having a 20th anniversary sale! I have not tried anything from Zamaya.🤗
I do adore coconut perfumes and have been craving it this year and got a lot of them. I just do not like when they are too dense as they can get cloying at the end of the day. Lattafa African Drummer was fab🥰🌹

That's unironically the kind of perfume I'm looking for, vanilla with caramel and a citrus. I had a perfume from Nina ricci that smelled like that, and it was pretty much my introduction to gourmand perfumes. Suprisingly even though a lot of perfumes have that DNA, a lot of those "dupes" end up having floral or woodsy notes that just ruin it for me.
Ah. I do love the Nina line of fragrance. Are you talking about Nin Rouge? That is a lovely one but my fave at the moment is Nina La Parfum. Such a lovely flanker🤗🦋

Thanks for sharing your impressions and I totally agree. I should also get a back up as sometimes the Khadlaj scents disappear to never return🦋🦋
