Global warming is felt here too. Winters are late, and the snow melts fast. We have a shorter winter season and get caught off guard when the snow melts within the day. It has happened that people were packing to go camping and had to stop for the road got bad very fast. The sea ice is not thick, maybe about 1.5 ft with not much snow. So, we are witnessing first hand the effects of global warming.
I remember back when the SKS's became available here in northeastern PA, our local gun shop had them still in the crates and covered in cosmoline. It was take your pick for $79.00 each and I believe that included two boxes of 7.62 x 39 ammo. This was probably back in the 1980's or so.
@@FelixSt-Aubin I had to mention that I stopped by a local gun shop today. In the "surplus rifle" rack I saw a SKS that was tagged as "Never Fired" and the price on it was $1,095.00 US dollars. It did have an attached bayonet and it looked like brand new but still, that is twice the price of a lower end AR. Gun prices in this particular gun shop tend to always be on the high side but that much money for an SKS is insane!!

No signs of overcrowding…. No signs of global warming either…
Beautiful work.

Love the sks ! They’re getting to be a collectors item. Used to buy them for $100 or less… now $700 !
They are very good for large game! Everything is getting expensive!

$79? Wow, what a great price that was. SKS is a great gun for caribou hunting.

I walked 25 miles at 45 below.. ya almost died.... need your stuff to run at any temp . For very long distance.
I always try and maintain my rides, we also have inreach, so that when our machine breaks down, we can get picked up.
Why does caribou change their route?
There is no official confirmation why the caribou have declined sharply.

Clickbait - Not a polar bear in sight
Very bountiful land.
Sometimes we go back home unsuccessful. Beautiful land that gives us what we need.
Wow that hard broken ice must be hard on sleds ? you dont want to break down out there in polar bear country!!!!!
We have to be careful and maintain our rides continually.
