Well, Mario 64 is only about 8 megabytes and made by humans with clear intentions, while the human genome is around 750 megabytes and none of it is commented! The nerve of some programmers...
well yes we created the first while the second created us. to not understand something we created would be technically impossible. but for me to understand something is not being capable of running it blindfolded. in this case it would be knowing the code i guess. i got the joke though

I couldn't even believe what I was seeing while watching this run. Might be one of the best SM64 runs ever ran at GDQ thus far. I've been speedrunning for 5+ years, and I cannot comprehend running any of my 30+ games blindfolded. This dude is an absolute LEGEND!
Blindfolded runners are so incredible. The work that went into fighting consistent setups on the routing end, the training it takes for audio cues and not to mention the memorization it takes and how stressful it must be...Great job to Bubzia!

I love getting to see these runners showcase amazing skills at GDQ events, and the Blindfold runs are always such an incredible thing to watch. The blind punch-out runs in the past were great, and this was just unbelievable to watch. I would probably never be able to find the castle door or get even a single star blind folded. GG's on such an amazing run.

The trick to these blindfolded runs is normalization. Movements like running into a corner for a bit that will always put you in the same place. It's not magic, it's precise planning, game knowledge, and practiced execution. Which in my book is more impressive than magic.
