I purchased two of these and within a month *both* CO2 seals had failed .. and on the Spartan it can't be blamed on overtightening. Currently using an Emperor Scorpion without any issues. Summary: Purchased three (3) Sigs and only the one with Allen Wrench CO2 tightening still works one month in . :(
This is the same 1911 pistol like the Winchester Model 11. This pistols are the most powerful blowback pistols in the market (130m/s). For bb's you need a certain minimum speed, a lot of blowback pistols don't reach above 100m/s. That's not enough, a minimal speed of 115 up is needed. Actually my Winchester was too powerful and the barrel was not well fitted. I had to modify a lot for best results (more vent on the blowback chamber to delay the slide kick).
After watching second time,Spartan looks looks more like my Winchester Model 1911,it has no rail, mag and loading CO2 is pretty much the same, ful metal except grips.I am really pissed 😡 that my Springfield Armory failed now I switched one WTP and Winchester, but if you want to plink just get XBG for $50 ,,,gun,BBs and some CO2.
@@airgunreplicas77 Thank you - the WTP people one doesnt look clean enough for my taste - and I do want to put a laser on the rail :) Will go look for a Scorpion.
@@harpnel9371 Weird. I could understand the co2 escaping if not lined up properly when inserting perhaps or a dodgy seal maybe. Perhaps even closing the cantilever too slowly or hesitantly. But co2 escaping through the barrel has me stumped I'm afraid. Sorry mate.
@@airgunreplicas77 i don’t know why but the gun itself is breaking the co2 seal before i can even close the locking arm. Trust me i’ve tried like 10 times all wasting c02 and trying to go fast it just opens the seal of the container before i’m even done loading it and the gas has nowhere to go besides out the barrel. It actually looks kinda cool but that’s besides the point that i can’t load the damn thing
@@harpnel9371 I wonder if the piercing pin is misformed in some way so it’s not piercing the capsule smoothly. Do you use any oil on the co2 capsule? May help but it’s a long shot.
I just got this gun and it looks and feels great. The only thing is that the hammer is sort of flimsy or maybe mine is defective but it shoots good

Sounds like you’re overtightening

NICE, it almost looks like a gold color is this light
It’s a lovely looking gun. Unlike anything else, certainly in my collection.
Mine doesnt look that good 😳 Is it your lightning or have you customized your gun ? Great vid btw 😊
Must be the lighting. This is just how it came. Thanks for watching!

is this the best one to get if I can only get one - blow black , interesting CO2 insertion? Realism ?
Check out my ‘best 1911’ video. I’d recommend the Sig Emperor Scorpion or We The People edition over this for realism.

Will go look for a Scorpion.
Just ordered one.
Enjoy!
Warning. Shoots good.
The co2 lever pushes hard.
Video does not show how difficult the force
that it takes. I preferred the Alan wrench method.
Is it metal
Yes. Full metal other than the plastic grips.
What’s with gloves
Keeps body gunk off a piece you're only going to put back 'on the shelf' after handling.
everytime i put a co2 cartridge in for this the gas just shoots out the barrel of the gun. Any solutions or is this just a bad co2 box?
Strange. If it’s coming out of the barrel then I’m guessing the valve is stuck permanently open or something similar. Is the trigger stuck at all?
@@airgunreplicas77 no the trigger pulls fine

Why u put f gloves
Can i get this?
This is my own collection but yeah I’m sure you can get it from a shop. Are you UK based?
Mine is leaking pretty bad
do you lubricate it with oil? it helps the seals. sounds like maybe you're past that point though?
Yeah I think I am. This was my 1st BB gun and I did a really bad job at taking care of it 🙃 oh well
Ah ok. You can replace seals though. I’m sure there’ll be something online to show you how.
Too bad for the magazine.
I bought one…don’t like it..not very accurate
Piece of junk, bought one, never got shoot it, wouldn't accept any CO2 cartridge, waste of money, don't buy the Spartan, you'll regret it
