Hi, generally older Corollas are simple and easy to maintain, but overall reliability depends on how they've been looked after. Since the model was made between 1979 and 1987, the oldest ones are over 40 years now. So even if you find one that looks relatively good, it would be better to get it properly inspected, in terms of mechanicals as well as any rust and structural issues.
