I really enjoyed the reflection on the idea of making sure that you mitigate the overwhelm you have in other areas of your life if you have overwhelm in your trading.
Another great episode, thanks guys. A key takeaway for me is, understanding why we make certain decisions based on previous experience, is equally as important as understanding thee mechanics of the stock market.
That response about the significance of self worth base on pnl, hit home hard. That's the struggle I have been having and just recently realized I have been doing this for the past four years.
Great conversation, thanks all involved. I think one important question that was missing and probably would be good to hear about, how to build trust in yourself as a new trader and even professional one. Another topic for discussion: 1. Risk management in trading for beginners and professionals 2. EGO management. How to control your fear and greed.
17:20 key takeaway, daily Affirmation, Self-talk and Visualization bets method for reclaiming back my authentic voice and mash negativity. Thanks for the video content.
Love Stan's take on "Trade/Life Balance". I 100% agree. I have never liked the term "Work/Life Balance" for very similar reasons. I always restate it as "Work/Life Harmony". I don't like the idea that it must be some kind of give/take, but rather it is a fusion/harmony.
Time stamp 1:06:27 trade/life balance. That is an area I could improve. The time frame is a great idea. Inevitably, my phone always right right about 9:30 every trading day lol
thank you for this episode, as my ah ha momnent is "Like in no other endeavor I tried, in how many creative ways can I continue sabotaging my plan for execution? It seems so consistent and endless that I must focus on my inner self, discovering through psychology what moves the strings."
