    One thing that has helped me tremendously is keeping my hair wrapped with a silk bonnet or scarf while at home. I have 2 cats and a large dog that sheds a lot and I still don't have a huge issue. Wrap your locs ladies!

    I brush my locs right before I wash and before bed each night. I have cats and lint is literally everywhere and so far that has worked. Thanks for always giving great advice ❤️

    Love the sharpie idea. I’ll have to try that and i just started brushing my locs, but never thought about brushing before washing them. Thanks!

    Hey beautiful, this is great advice! I’m not picking my lint out anymore, it weakens my locs and I hate that.

    Thank you for recommending the boar-hair brush. I wasn't sure if brushing was good for my locs or not. Ordering one now.

    I use a hard bristle brush and that helps to get the lint out. But I make sure I do it the day after work or wearing a certain scarf or cardigan that causes lint

    Right on time, I been dealing with that from my bed sheets cover. I do use my hand to remove it or brush my hair.

    I’m about ready to start mine over bc of buildup and lint. I don’t want to but I’ve truly let it get out of hand. I’ve had my locs for 18 years (since I was 7) and it’s just not where I want it to be.

      Is it all over? Because if it’s just towards the ends you can trim.

      If it's all over just dye your hair black. Why cut it all off :/

    How to can you tell the difference between product build up and lint?

    • @KeishaCharmaine
      @KeishaCharmaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Product build up will come out with deep cleaning unlike lint.

    Thanks 4 the tips! I knew of some...especially the sharpie. I told my younger male cousin about that a few years back! 😃 I'm 9 years loc'd and I typically stay clear of sweaters and some other fabrics just because wearing my locs down would cause havoc with those fabrics. I'd like to know what else do people do besides wearing their hair in a bun when wearing linty fabrics.

    • @KeishaCharmaine
      @KeishaCharmaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is when the brush/lint roller comes in handy. I wear sweaters a lot and I do t allow my sweaters to stop me from wearing my hair down.
