Apart from the last few years of his life, he was the best host in terms of knowledge and the choice of his words. We have literally grown up watching his alim online and then ramazan transmissions , his choice of words , his excellent vocabulary in the columns he used to write in Jang newspaper , he was the King literally.I remember watching his duas on the blessed nights and those literally shook me to the core . Always remember one of his words of duas that i stil use in my duas ' Allah hm pr rehm krna adal naa krna wrna hm kahin k nahin rahein gay', ramzan always has a different feel after his death .May Allah bless him in Jannah and forgive his sins

I was never a fan of Amir Liaqat and used to criticise him even in his peak time but I really felt bad for him the day he died.
Truly a lesson for us
Ibrat for everyone. Never liked him. Was a very show off kind of personality. May Allah Subhanao Ta’ala forgive him. He didn’t do right with his first wife.

I have to say, I used to learn from his knowledge, his Ramadan sehri and iftar transmissions, his marathon programs for Miladun Nabi. He was multi talented. However, he is a lesson and proof that humility and good manners are much more important than knowledge, talent, or fame.

I was and i am always been a fan of Dr Amir Liaqat since the start of his career. I often defend him alot on social media platforms when his downfall started, i even defend him infront of my family alot.
Deep inside me i have gut feeling that Amir liaqat will be back again with the same chrisma and aura he has, but I can't even imagine till now that a strong minded and strong personality person Dr Amir Liaqat is no more and died of a suicide.. Alas!

He's the only celebrity I've ever cried for. I remember the day of his death. I kept tearing up at work. Mannnn he was entertaining and it was so much fun making memes on him, but what a character.
Very good documentary, I met him in 1991 when he was trying to make a space for himself in MQM but he was young at that time and couldn’t get any seats against heavy weights of MQM old guards.. it is similar fate to Altaf Hussain, Bhutto, Mujeeb Rehman, Indra and other famous personalities like IK.. absolute power corrupts absolutely, modern media gives too much power …

I remember this man made our childhood so memorable, I used to wake up for sehri early to watch his transmission . We were so emotionally connected with him. Seeing him fall was the most depressing thing . May Allah forgive his sins and give him jannah .Every ramazan I remember him. He was literally a legend .

He was after all a human. Show me one human being who didn’t make wrong decisions in life. His biggest problem was to lose control of himself. He surrendered himself to drugs and wrong company (2nd,3rd wives) that is what led him to his downfall. Allah maghfirat farmaye! Ameen
