Two beautiful voices that harmonize well together Bob Nolan baretone and Lloyd Perryman tenor a perfect match Thanks for making it possible for us to listen and enjoy.
That's why I've been really getting into the old 40's and 50's Chuck Wagon Gang recordings. It has the same feel as when The Sons of the Pioneers did gospel. They did more gospel in the late 40's to the 60's, but I like the simple instrumentals of their earlier recordings. When you start throwing in organs and orchestras, you sort of kill their rugged quality.
Songs of comfort, peace and joy. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Wow! This is one I had never heard before; lovely!!
I can't get over how much I love this one. The melody, the words, the harmony.... Oh!
Reminds me of Church. I always loved when they recorded gospel songs.
I was just listening to this today and wishing they'd done more like it. Definitely one of my top favorites.

Excellent! Thank you, Mrs. McDonald!
You said it! This has got to be one of my ultimate favorite songs of theirs yet.
According to a reliable source, Charles W. Vaughan wrote the song.
