You packed many wonderful things in this gorgeous two-page spread. Love the vellum because not only is it beautiful and very complementary to the left page but it also offers time to rest my eyes on all the goodness happening there before flipping it over to view the right page. The struggle is real!!! I should have recorded all the conversations I had with myself in trying to get this where it landed. It was sort of between: 'stop making this so complicated' to 'come one, you can do this!!!'. Ha ha. We just have to know which one to listen too. That's half the trick. Thank you for watching. I realized I missed documenting a very special birthday from December. My Chapters book is chronological. 🤔 Then I remembered this! Ah Jamie and vellum to the rescue. I very carefully pulled up the edge of the page, inserted my vellum and there you go…😊

Such lovely pages! I was curious about the journaling you were going to do under your photos on the second page. Were you just going to write directly on the blank page, or use tags or something? Thanks. Sometimes, okay, every time, the journaling is where I get stuck!😂
Firstly, I am attempting to be better about placing the where of the journaling/story first. So that is the why of that wide open space. Secondly, I will more than likely type it, it's actually being thought through presently. And then, I am thinking to type the different stories, format them the width of the page, and then adhere several of those on the page. Did that make sense. And yes, the journaling can get you stuck. It continues to be something to pursue. And its really worth it too.
