My first language was Assembly, and I really love it. If you really want to know how a CPU works, and how it stores information this will do it. It is interesting you have registers (AX [accumulator], BX [base], CX [counter], and DX [data]) and how they are divided into 8 bits each (eg AH, AL making AX). CF and . It's cool. Later 32-bit registers were created turning into EAX, EBX, ECX, EDX. It's all good.
