My only slight critique would be that we cannot see the Tree during staging. Other than that, this is the best video coverage of Top Fuel I've ever seen. And *heard*.
Wow ! Thank you sir, my setup is just the sony AX53 which has the best image stabilization on the market ( B.O.S.S. Balanced Optical Steady Shot ) it can record 4k video as well but only at 30fps, so I shoot in 1080p@60fps because of fast motion I need 60fps....Unfortunately they not running Pomona this November so we gotta wait to February 2021 for the Winternationals again...but i will be ready & plan to shoot 2 days at the Winternationals...i have 5 brand new SD cards ready & another battery for my camcorder so I won't have to worry about running under the grandstands looking to charge up during some sportsman class qualifying. 👍

But a lot of the new tracks -- including Vegas and Charlotte -- you're a mile away from everything. It's pointless to go and watch.

I used to think that when a dragster would blow his engine on the way down the track, that they were screwed and would have to break out a back up engine or something. It wasn't till recently that learned that the engine is pretty much replaced between every race. Now I know there are a few components that are used again, but for the most part its totally stripped and re-built. That's crazy.
The most amazing thing to me is how quickly they completely rebuild one in the pit. A little over 5 minutes for teardown and completely rebuilt and running in 35 minutes. Here's John Force's car in the pit as an example. th-cam.com/video/TuLWGkJdOJA/w-d-xo.html
They need to move the boom crane to the medium strip and fix three cameras so as to view side by side with a split screen and single screen straight ahead.

The strutmasters team needs to learn to build there own motors and stop using crate crap I saw him run at Sumer nats he barely broke 240mph that sad for a top fuel dragster I wonder if there still running a transmission and not clutch packs like everyone else, for whatever reason that thing is slow

Depends on the damage. Sometimes a backup short block gets the call.

Fuel tank?
It’s some sort of oil tank. Fuel tank is at the front.
The tank catches the blow by from the engine. Otherwise, there would oil all over the track👍
