intentionally trying to injure other players in sport should be an actual crime. Yes accidents happens but its hardly an accident if a coach or team boss says "go hurt that person". Should be time behind bars, massive fines and lifetime bans
You missed my favorite: Mike Tyson biting off a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear! This incident achieved notoriety as one of the most infamous and bizarre events in boxing history! 🥊
Don't think its considered cheating since he was doing it because he was losing and didn't care anymore and was just trying to hurt Holyfield. He wasn't doing it to win.
That cracked me up too haha...there were one or two I had to laugh at on here. I mean, they're mostly all funny to an extent (the woman who drove/got the subway in the marathon, the guy who posed as a woman, the footballer who grabbed the opponent's arm to punch himself 😂)
1. 1978 Oakland Raiders (Immaculate Deception aka The Holy Roller) 2. Antonio Margarito (gypsum found in boxing gloves) 3. Professional wrestling heels 😂😂
Houston's bench coach Alex Cora would lead the Boston Red Sox to a World Series win the following season, knocking out the Astros in the ALCS in the process. He was then fired by Boston during the 2019 season for his involvement with the Astros' sign stealing scandal two years prior. A TH-camr named UTree did a video on the City of Houston selling its soul to the devil for a league title. The Astros would win the 2022 World Series and release the city from the "devil", but the city of Boston also became the "devil's" plaything because of that 2018 WS title. They have never come close to winning a playoff series since then. Casualties? The Bruins coming up just short of a Cup win 8 months later against the St Louis Blues, who were near the bottom of the standings by the NHL All-Star Break, the Blues winning their first Cup in franchise history and avenging the 1970 Finals, which ended in a sweep in favour of Boston, capped off by the Flying Bobby Orr goal. Then a few years later in 2023, following a coaching change the Bruins would set the regular season record in wins and other stats, and follow that up with blowing a 3-1 series lead against the Florida Panthers in the first round to lose the series and watch the Panthers go all the way to the Cup Finals, coming up short against Boston's former Head Coach in Bruce Cassidy and the Vegas Golden Knights. The Bruins would lose to the Panthers in the second round the following playoffs, and this time the Panthers would come out as Cup Champions over an Edmonton Oilers squad that nearly became the biggest comeback story in the NHL since the 2019 Blues. Onto the New England Patriots. After their 2017 Super Bowl win they began regressing as Tom Brady two years later would leave and sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. New England kept making the playoffs until 2021, but didn't have the performance level to get them further. Then the following season, they would miss the playoffs by a single game, holding the division lead until the final week when they lost to the Bills and watched as the Dolphins took care of business against the New York Jets and leapfrogged into the division title over them. Being this was the weakest division in the conference there was no meaning to finishing second. The Patriots would finish the 2023 season with just 4 wins, their worst record since I believe before the Tom Brady era. Bill Belichuk took this as an opportunity to abandon ship. We'll see if they can turn it around. The curse of the city of Boston would have continued if not for the Celtics winning the NBA Finals this past June. It was a struggle for the past 5 years but Boston is now also free from the "devil" despite some setbacks. And the Astros' sign stealing? The New York Yankees mostly called foul because Houston used their own cheating method against them. That's right, the Yankees were stealing signs during the 2016 season. They didn't make the playoffs, so nothing really came out of it.
I’m not a baseball fan, but what kind of excuse is you accidentally picked up a doctored bat that you were practising with? Why would you practise with something that handles differently?
Lol, I love the fact that the balls were underinflated this year in the New England vs. Kansas City game, but the NFL didn't want to say anything about it.
Glad to see Diego Maradona as number one cheat! Missed Michael Schumacher. You could do a hour long video on cheating and dubious actions in F1,top to bottom there's so much of in the past at least and provably still.
So focused on baseball, that you've missed a lot of more flagrant events in other sports, like Marcel Hirscher (alpine skiing) finishing races despite not passing gates correctly, several phantom goals in football (Including the Wembley goal that basically awarded the 1966 World Cup). Instead they added the Nelson Pique Jr. "incident", whose "judgement" was reversed, because it was found to be a personal vendetta by then FIA president Max Mosley (the nazi hookers guy) and F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone (the 9th oldest person to ever father a child) against Flavio Briatore (admittedly, also a pretty questionable character), because the latter had thwarted some of their plans for F1 reform. Pique Jr's "witness report" was deemed unreliable, as it was made more than a year after the incident and after Pique had already been unceremoniously terminated by Briatore for under performing and after he had already been approached (and arguably coached) by the FIA. "Crashgate" wasn't about an alleged race manipulation, it was about 2 corrupt executives using a disgruntled former employee and a sports tribunal they controlled to crush somebody who dared to stand up against them.
If we're talking about biting, I'm sure Tyson's already been mentioned, but how about Luis Suarez...who bit players on three different occasions. And then he used his hands to save a ball in the dying minutes of a World Cup match...which was effective as the opponent missed the ensuing penalty kick.
"When people debate the greatest baseball player, George Brett's name is always mentioned"... uh, no. No it isn't. Great player but he is never mentioned in the same breath as people like Willie Mays and Babe Ruth.
Should also point out that on the Sal Alosi play, the Dolphin player was cheating. If you are pushed out of bounds, you must come back inbounds IMMEDIATELY. Not run unimpeded down the sidelines outside the field of play where no player can touch you.
yeah the australian public and media were ruthless against smithy, warner and bancroft. a lot of laughing when steve smith cried in the press conference...like sorry but you brought it on yourself mate. he got stripped of the captaincy and all three had match bans (can't remember how long for). when their bans had lifted, the first test back was against england in england and the crowd booed when they walked on.
Sticky substances and baseball pitchers: they claim stickier hands and fingers allows for better control of where the pitch will end up as it crosses the plate. For years there was an arms race to develop things like "Spider-tac" or even the "rosin and sunscreen" thing to better grip the ball. The MLB finally had enough and said the only legal substances are dirt, sweat and rosin from the bag on the mound. Since then every player caught and suspended for 10 games has never won an appeal, or withdrew the appeal. Of course the first few months without extra sticky stuff saw a lot of hit batter because of less pitch control.
"there's nothing worse than a cheater that's cheated more than once" How about a cheater that permanently injures the one they cheated against ruining their potential career like you mention about 5 minutes later with the boxer lacking padding. Or the guy who pulled the break that could've gone much worse etc.
No Luis Suarez??? 🤣🤣🤣 That's criminal. He caused a lot of damages in sportsmanship, such as the infamous handball in 2010 World Cup vs Ghana and the incident in 2014 World Cup vs Italy where he bit Chiellini's shoulder 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm a huge wrestling fan (as in WWE) and in other sports I can see people doing stuff like this being caught but when you're Eddie Guerrero in WWE you had the ref took out or looking away and then you strike and yes I know wrestling is "scripted" but like that one guy said "it's still real to me"
22 shouldn't have been allowed to drive a motorcycle ever again! Let alone be able to work as a motorcycle racer again. You just don't do something like that at all!
16:07 This one is one of those incidents that you can only really get the full impact of if you understand the culture around fishing and similar competitions. It's a matter of deeply personal pride to those people, not just a sporting event. The prize money comes from entry fees, so they were quite literally stealing from the very people who they were competing against. Plus, fishermen aren't known to be the most patient and understanding when someone violates their integrity in such a grievous way. That judge wasn't just apoplectically furious, he was trying to head off the crowd. Those two are lucky that Fischer kept control and stopped the crowd from delivering more than a verbal beating.
I’m still mad about the Astros scandal. So are a lot of people and it’s because no one got punished. And there will never be a sadder outcome from cheating than the Resto scandal. He and his trainer ruined his career and many believe that his victims death was a suicide because of the depression cause by his career ending. They are the lowest of the low and should’ve done more prison time.
i don't know how the refs in football (soccer) can miss the obvious dives and illegal ball contacts. like, they're looking RIGHT AT IT for Betty White's sake. it makes me think that they're being paid to look the other way or involved in match fixing. goes to show that referees have a lot of power in sports. you don't see or hear of them being disciplined/penalized or called out for poor officiating by the league they officiate. players, coaches, management and owners can't even allude to poor officiating in interviews or else they'll be fined for hurting their feelings.
I only got through 4 minutes of this video. A soccer player flopping or a hockey player taking a dive cant be considered for this list, as it happens thousands of times every year. I expect better from you Watch Mojo.
2:20 - She should have pulled off her sock. No rule against barefoot, and it solves the immediate problem. 12:20 - No mention of Golata's nut shot punches? 19:50 - Brett was less cheating than bad judgement. And Martin being a stickler for the rules is no different than an NHL coach pointing out an illegal stick. If it's in the rules, you have to abide by it. 25:25 - Speaking of illegal sticks, the unethical part is USING IT. Calling for it to get a penalty when you need it isn't cheating. If McSorehead had stopped using it at that point, Montreal would have gotten the penalty.
Calling Rivaldo "Ferrara"... That's not just ignorance, that's mediocrity. And that shows that the people who did this video don't give a fuck about what happens behind american borders, otherwise they'd have the culture required to know you call that football player Rivaldo.

In one case, it was. There was the figure skater who was assaulted by her fellow competitor’s boyfriend.
I remember the movie "the ridiculous 6" parodied how baseball was created. I think that's the way it really happened. 😂😂
Pronouncing Bergeron as Burger-en is hilarious LMAO 🍔
First one, dude pronounces rosin as ROW-ZEN not RAH-ZIN which I've never heard.
