Line boring a VW engine case.

Sorry for crappy video, but here is how I do a line bore on a VW engine case. Not sure why it cropped it square. 🤷🏼‍♂️
This line bore took me 3hrs including the thrust cut. I ended up with near perfect .0015” crush on each bearing. There is no way to rush this, and it MUST be cut to match the bearings you are planning to run.

There is just no substitute for a machinist that knows what he is doing. Outstanding work always seems like the guys that really have something to teach never get the views. thank you for your no compromise approach it is Missing from the VW game

That was a great explanation. I have the same tool but, hate setting up the cutters. What is your setup for your rough cut? Could you share more videos on this?
