My father told me he was in this movie for a few seconds. For years we tried looking for a streaming site that would have it, but no luck. Today he found the movie on Peacock randomly, funny that it's now here on TH-cam... He actually worked at the games in Santa Monica Pier in the 80's. They paid him $300 for the day of shooting. He appears as the Game Attendant @ 40:41. Mom & Dad had some tears of joy watching this, some laughs too 😊
I just listened to the Fly On The Wall interview with Danny Devito. He mentioned this movie and I had to come and watch because he said Michael Richards and Jerry Seinfeld were in it. There were an awful lot of stars in this and stars to be. A fun movie worth my time.
I saw this on Showtime back in the winter of 85/86. I loved this show and saw it over and over. That may be because I was living in a construction camp and Showtime was one of our only channels. Nevertheless, I love this movie and have been waiting for it to re-appear.
51:39 How cool, scene at the Hollywood sign. They should make scenes up there more often. I'm seeing such location for a first time. I'm glad I kept watching after noticing The Ratings Game was liked only by 49% of viewers.
A fairly independent movie something not quite existed back in 1984 as it is known today and since the early 1990's. So the movie distributed as Made - for TV - Film and also marks Danny DeVito's film directing debut.
I love this movie and the interaction between Danny and Rhea but I really wish someone would post "Canadian Bacon" the whole movie on TH-cam. Please Danny, please Rhea...
This is kind of like the list of who's who in rhe movie. Many big names had camero roles. Or has beens or future starts. There is both Jerry Stienfield and Cheers connections in the movie. One thing I remembered it came out and told my aister to sue the production and studio for this movie in 1980s because they had Computron in the movie and there was a REAL Computron my sister and her then husband owned. A computer buainess. Yes same name they operated from July 1983 to around 1994 because of divorce and sold to another computer business that also later went out of business. That was where I first learned how to use computers in Summer 1984. I still have my sister's business cards. It is a proof. This movie should pay up!

fantastic
Beauty
Wonderful background storyline
Cool!
Excellent!
Thanks for the fun movie. With all the craziness in the world these days, I am only watching comedies for my mental health :D Cheers, Paul
I'm beginning to do the same.
Laughter opens the soul.
You are right man! Only stupid people around the world.
I seriously don't blame you. Old comedy is the best!!
me too.. it helps a lot
i hope things work out Really good for you all
Me too. Lost track of many times I watched Taxi!
I just saw this for the first time today and it might be my second favorite Danny Devito movie after Jewell of The Nile
if you hadn't seen it, watch 'Jack the Bear'
What about Tin Men?
Check out ruthless people!!!
Twins? :(. 5 MILLION DOLLARSSSSSS!!

"fun" is odd when describing movies; playing baseball is fun, water skiing is fun, not sure movies are ever fun
the first scene in the limo i was thinking how much danny reminded me of jason alexander

@40:10 Wow! He really did love her. He took her all the way to Sandusky Ohio to Cedar Point amusement park for a date!
" you betta clap yo hands fool" 🤣🤣🤣
Didn’t know I would laugh this much! It was worth my time.😂❤
Micheal Richards makes every, tiny thing he does hilarious, even just looking at a remote control
All the MBC's shows would be the greatest hits now especially with streaming services.
I really love Danny de Vito ! From Antipolo City Province of Rizal, Philippines
13:06 The TV show everybody expects , even today....😂😂😂😂
Rodríguez, the cynic. What a character!
Brought to you by ChemCorp: "We're fighting to win back your trust"
Lol. The movie had a low number of highlights but yeah... this was one of them.
The woman pushing Benny Bentson's wheelchair is Randi Brooks. Her best role was in 'Tightrope' also in 1984.
Thank you for a delightful movie!
At 3:11, a young Jerry Seinfeld before he made a show about nothing and played a bee.
At @1:07:14 and @1:21:49 Kramer too!
Little Jerry 😂
Film year-1984. DeVito did Taxi from 1978 until 1983. Directed by Danny DeVito himself. Michael Richards at 1:07:24.
Thank you so much for posti g this ❤😂❤🎉❤
Also...THANKS FOR SHOWING CREDITS! ❤❤❤❤
The actor playing the chauffeur Bruno was in Goodfellas
No wayyyy!!! Word
Braithwaite was in Childs play 2 and used cars
Frank Sivero eh
Robert Redford despises those "Hollywood" people and so do I .
They played as Matildas parents too
Because they’re husband and wife in real life (though legally separated today).

A delightful movie that could have been a hit with more people if it had been advertised.
This is the first movie directed by DeVito.
Honestly the funniest characters in this movie were the TV executives.

This is a great comedy!😂
Danny Devito in the face oddly resembles Robert Downing Jr. his acting is natural and phenomenal
Surprised this didn't get Oscar, or it did?!
BILLSTER AND BOBBIT
DANNY DE VITO IS FIT ☝
👍👍👍 👍👍👍
God I remember this movie!!
I love this movie and the interaction between Danny and Rhea but I really wish someone would post "Canadian Bacon" the whole movie on TH-cam. Please Danny, please Rhea...
I love the Rhea and Danny❤
funniest movie ever, and most of it is true...

They are beautiful couple.

TY FROM KANSAN-ASS USA (=

Kevin McCarthy had the looks of a nasty yet funny boss.
13 minutes in and I feel like I'm watching a dumb advertisement for other dumb shows.
Like many of devitos films start’s of slow but was funny
Where was the Goomba's part?
Wendy (Cisse Cameron) was much better in 'Porkys 2'

This was so good!
not bad

Well not exactly 5 star. A lot of noted cast, not necessarily at their best.
This film sucks, it’s far too cheesy and longwinded. But it is acted and scripted well. 4.5/10
Dident like movie it was boring 😢
women dress too cheap
