Do you guys have any thoughts on Hestan? I think its a newcomer but I am reading they have alot of accolades and get often compared with Sub-Zero/Wolf/Cove.
My Kitchenaid oven is great. And my neighbors bought a new Maytag about the same time I did and they like it. These expensive ones are too problematic. And if they don’t have too many issues these are for serious cooks. Women who like my Mom cook and bake at least 6 days a week. I like that as I grew up on great home cooking with a traditional Mother. So ladies cook good for your family. Don’t spend more than you can afford
I've had a Gaggenau 27" double wall convection oven (EB series) for a long time, probably 15 or so years. I've absolutely loved it - I can't say enough about the side swing door feature! Plus it offers a variety of cooking modes, it looks beautiful, and it has performed great (although it's developed warm/less-warm zones as it's aged, making it necessary to rotate foods sometimes so they cook evenly) . Being in the DC metro area, I've also had great experience with local service when it's been needed. We're planning a kitchen remodel and wondering your thoughts on the current Gaggenau wall oven models and how their single-fan convection heating compares with the dual blowers in some other brands. Also, are there any other wall oven brands that offer side swing doors that you'd recommend?? Thanks!! I've been watching many of your videos and they are extremely helpful!
Great format - very informative. I do have one question, we are in the Atlanta area and are looking for a good, solid 36” freestanding refrigerator. We don’t have the funds to redo our kitchen to build a refrigerator in. We have a white kitchen with a Wolf 30” gas cooktop, Thermador sapphire glow dishwasher, and are replacing a Kenmore 27” wall oven - microwave combo with a GE Profile 27” wall oven - microwave combo. We currently have a JennAir 21 cf French door refrigerator, and we’ve had some issues with it. The main thing is trying to keep the doors shut. Every day the alarm is going off, which is ok if we are at home, but we’ve had plenty of times coming home to a 50 degree refrigerator. I’d love to have a dual compressor fridge with a stainless interior. That leaves Bosch & Thermador freestanding. But I’m not sure about the quality and reliability. Plus it’s made in China (I’d rather have one made in US, Canada, Mexico, or Europe). I’ve seen a Bosch in person but it didnt feel high quality. How is Bosch / Thermador quality on their freestanding? Are there better options? I think we only have 71” high to work with. Any suggestions are appreciated!! Love your channel!!
Love these videos. Quick question, 18” dishwasher Bosch 800 or Miele G 5482 SCVi SL? Don’t have any experience with either brand and don’t see you guys doing an 18” dishwasher video. Any advice greatly appreciated.
@@Pete_or_Peter4Long I've had both full size and 18" Bosch dishwashers. Faultless, both. Both extremely quiet and wash better than any brand I've ever owned. I'm 80, relocated more than most and owned and rented lots of homes. I'll never buy another brand dishwasher! But then at 80 how many more could I need to buy!!! I'm laughing at myself at the moment! But I am expecting to remodel my kitchen this year and am not planning to replace my 8 year old Bosch because there isn't anything wrong with it.
What are some of the best luxury brands that have good service calls? Also, do you think Jenn-Air will come out with any new appliances soon? It seems that they have had their Noir and Rise line for quite some time. I do like the look of the black interior, but understand it is not for everyone. Miele is one that I like a lot as well. Nice clean contemporary look!
Your response is far too vague coming from Yale. Many of us began subscribing to Yale TH-cam and suggesting others do likewise solely because you honestly report appliance reliability based on your actual service departments' repair call experiences by Brand and appliance category. Reading this Yale response was a gut kick of let down because of where it ended. Why not a redirect to your latest repair survey? Maybe I should search for it myself? There is a recent edition -yes?
@@YaleAppliance1some technicians act like they are doing you a favor going to your house and if they can’t fix the problem definitely you are the problem not the defective product that they send you, does induction has so much steam that ur went drip water on the stove even on highest level? Is that normal
Wolf induction has so much steam it’s destroying my cabinets and the technicians told us not to cook on high also move ur cabinets from close the stove, is that right? The second induction arrived, the whole glass on top gets extremely hot very disappointing, apparently there is no perfect working working wolf induction
LG was under a lawsuit not long ago with some of their appliances. I’ve heard nothing good about them due to that and a few other reasons. Idk about presently.
Stick with brands that have technical people who can locally fix. Bosch. Whirlpool. Kitchen aid. Maytag. Paying out 5 grand or more is ridiculous for an oven.

Its interesting...has colors and the 30K BTU burner in the middle. But people didnt buy it when we sold it.

Thanks for the input. I am looking at Fisher Paykel. Ive seen other positive videos on your channel regarding that brand.
I think it is unique....

I love Gaggenau...and still believe its the best oven on the market.

I like em both
@@YaleAppliance1 😂 I do too. What’s the reliability percentage for both brands for dishwashers?

Any idea when is Wolf going to update their gas ranges?
What about Liebherr/Monolith for refridgerators and freezers?
Liebherr makes the more expensive Miele refridgerators too.
Fhiaba 🇮🇹 😊
@@hastensavoir7782 I don't think they sell Fhiaba in the US. But if you want a Fhiaba fridge I believe the Hestan refrigerator is a rebadged Fhiaba.
Correction; if you DON'T, know how to cook you need 17 modes. If you do know how to cook you only need 1...on
I need 42 at least.
I was surprised to see you guys had nothing to say on Dacor
Its not widely sold in New England. Decent looking products though.

All of em need service at one time or another....
the noir is for the right kitchen design very nice. Had a rental with a Jenn air I recall not being rock solid reliability wise but was nice otherwise

No I dont think so....whats the brand when does it happen, etc
Would you guys consider Bosch, Kitchenaid, And Cafe as luxury? or would you consider them Entry Level into luxury?
Affordable Luxury...which is next
I'd call them "premium" rather than "luxury"
I got my second wolf induction with many problems again, very disappointing
Uh oh, please tell me more, i was looking into Wolf for induction
So…. what are your top 3 choices for beer?

hi looking into Jenn are new modern line. Noir -- whats opinion win this in a high end home
No comment :)
@@YaleAppliance1 why. It’s that bad ?

2014-2017.....no doubt.
I sell Jennair and tbh, I think it deserves less than C
And I think SKS deserves S tier
seriously?
monogram had a higher price point than thermador so the value point made no sense.
depends on what model.....
Blue Star is HORRIBLE. From delivery to customer service: the WORST!
So is wolf technician have no idea yet and are not so trained to deal with hi tech
