Hi Bro, that's a lovely bat. I have one MB Malik bat which has 35mm edges n 61mm spine with generous concaving and one Gray Nicolls Ignite GN4.5 with 36mm edges and 60mm spine with slight concaving. But the pressing on them are awesome, they are absolute guns in terms of ping n they have just 5 to 6 grains n weighs around 1180gm They have awesome balance n pick up. For guys whose important bat specification preferences are big edges n spine with lot of grains, better pressing, ping n balance are more important factors to look for in a cricket bat.
You are absolutely right, Ping does not always come from the profile, the key factor in ping is the pressing on the cricket bat. Generally GN and MB Malik has better pressing than other bats that I have seen. In my view (and this is entirely my view), a bat maker that can make a bat in full profile with great pressing and keep the weight of the bat low. Now that is a bat that should be called a pro. Also bat makers should provide options in terms of multiple profiles within the same model. This will help.
Narrowing it down to one will be difficult. The general rule is that the more money you put into it, the better the bats get. So what gets better, you get a fuller profile within a less weight range. All bats generally have a good punch, the only thing that they all dont have is the size of the sweet spot. I am planning on doing a video on bats at a lower price range that can perform really well.

How to find out that bat is pressed properly? What are the key factors to look for?

What about kookaburra beast lite version on UAE conditions?
If you are looking for a lighter bat then I can recommend some other bats that will be good and cheaper than Kookaburra beast.
