It some of the reasons why the 2JZ is so legendary, it's way over built from the factory and can easily handle 2 maybe even 3 times its factory output on stock internals and still be reliable.

This engine is rated for 8,000RPM, so the redline on the tune is set at 8,000RPM. The stock Ford cluster shows red at only 7,500RPM though. Doesn’t mean I’m on limiter lol.

If your engine blows up 2 times in a row after 4 drives none of which are even on a track then you should look for a new builder.
@@jappiemoto he’s had this motor built 3 times now and it’s been screwing him over every single time. The first time he blew the stock motor was his fault. The second one was because the stock motor had gotten beaten on way harder than it should be and it finally let go. And now this one has gotten built, shipped back because of manufacturing error, then again after that, and now it blew a head gasket. So literally only one of the motors was completely his fault and that was the very first motor that blew up. Check the facts before you try saying something kid.

He had his redline actually set at just 8k, so he could've revved higher if he wanted. So yeah, its got nothing to do with it. This shit was built for 1500+ and was a 30k dollar engine. No excuses.

MMR is kicking themselves right now. They can’t blame it on gavin buying the motor from a second party either. They held the engine hostage for months and went through the motor. Horrible publicity for them.
Actually it’s most likely not MMR’s fault. It pressurized the cooling system, which is a head gasket. The head gasket was sealed just fine, hence why he was able to put X amount of miles and dyno pulls on it. This is going to be a tune issue that made the head gasket pop from going lean. After the head gasket popped, it’s going to have coolant in the oil. Instead of being smart and towing it home, he decided to put water back in it and go beat on it. He went from replacing head gaskets due to a tuning issue, to rebuilding a bottom end due to his ignorance.

I personally believe it was the back to back pulls. Did 4-5 back to back pulls in my supercharged gto. Coolant temps, IATs all maintained steady but there was a slight drop in oil pressure overall. Oil temps were increasing. I could only imagine 10 back to back pulls in a car with almost twice the horsepower. I believe your oil was too hot, and lost its viscosity.

i think the limiter is extended passed the red line now in this car for the tune.

I personally believe it was the back to back pulls. Did 4-5 back to back pulls in my supercharged gto. Coolant temps, IATs all maintained steady but there was a slight drop in oil pressure overall. Oil temps were increasing. I could only imagine 10 back to back pulls in a car with almost twice the horsepower. I believe your oil was too hot, and lost its viscosity.
