the song was probably playing in the background too so as well as it being mixed after, he cld easily jump into the part of the song he wanted to, seeing as it looks like it wasnt cut much in the middle too

The angle in the hospital got me. Spent a night in hospital after coming off a bike tryin to do tricks when I was a kid. Met a lad younger the me who had cancer and basically lived in the ward. We spent the night playing a mega drive someone brought in for him. He wasn’t there when I woke up either.

I come back to this video a lot. The feeling of it is so special, delicate and fragile that I could breakdown and cry anytime throughout it. It takes me back to my childhood where there was no worries, stresses, or fears, but only which character I was going to unlock next on Tekken Tag Tournament and what mum was making for lunch. Life can get too much when you start maturing, especially when reflecting and realising stuff. Thai makes music that calms my soul and mind but at the same time makes me want to rage endlessly in his other songs. Love, always💙

Slowthai is probably one my favourite break out artists ever. First heard of him on the Flume feature and I can't over how real all of his stuff is. The man is just rapping about life and experiences and yet we all feel it in our own ways. He said it best. 'It's just weird man'
