    Being yourself is what made Warren G such a success... He was simply the only rapper that was as laid back as he was and it paid off big time.

      Absolutely soul guy he's as laid back, I won't dare call it close to jazz but that's just me and love the whole chronic sound from his brother Dr Dre but you can see where he gets his lazy feel for lyrics it has to be Nate Dogg and regulate 🎶

      ahah ah, beside Dre himself, there was also Muggs, Madlib and Alchemist if you wanna stay on the west! Idk if Warren fits with Daz and Quick as Warren is on Dre Level from the blockbuster sound and Daz/Quick spend some nice GFunk sound but they only landed some hits. Warren G nearly made every beat sound clean and he was the only one being top charting major level for a longer time. Warren G always mixed his social and gov critics into his lyrics thats why he got blocked later but I respect that very much!

    seems like such an ancient time in hip hop history..definitely another world then. look at how humble and shy this guy is and how normal he looks compared to today's rappers

    • @JDOGFTW
      @JDOGFTW 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't call that shy I would call that swag he ain't humble either. Being all out there and being an idiot isn't confidence like this generation thinks it is. Being a smooth brother the respect was always there and you didn't have to be an idiot for respect and us OG's still behave like this while all yall new generation still think being an idiot makes you cool.

    • @JDOGFTW
      @JDOGFTW 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      95 was a nother time in society people actually had respect for each other and life was way better say what you will about smart phones but we had less technology and people were much happier in life. There wasn't blatant disrespect for people who didn't deserve it. You would have definetly enjoyed that time period being a teenager moreso than now.

    • @Snowboy2015
      @Snowboy2015 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JDOGFTW yeah, bro. I hear you. At least you lived through it. Technology was meant to improve our lives but maybe we just abused it. True, life was more about respect and regard for humanity. Hey, at least the summer is coming 🍑🍦☀️😎

    A great example of someone who got cut off, very likely because he wasn't seen as good enough or useless and turned the tables on those same people and became a successful artist. Very well done.

      He just had a famous relative so there was always comparisons and as always a sophomore album can break your momentum which can happen to the best... if anything he was more of a producer mixer guy not really a rapper so that's what you may be complaining about cause even Dr Dre wasn't a good rapper.
