I never read Percy Jackson until I was an adult and now I can see why everybody loves the series so much. I used to be a Fanfiction writer (for HP) and heard awful things about the Percy Jackson fandom. There were communities and forums set up to attack and bully authors that would write a pairing outside of the pairings that everyone else like. The fandom back then for Percy Jackson was awful and a very scary place to be. However, if I was starting in the Harry Potter fandom back in the early 2000s (think from 2000-2005), I don't think I would have gotten past the first book because of how awful the HP fandom was back in those days, to be completely honest.
There are 13 books in the ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ series. Because 13 is considered unlucky. There’s also 13 chapters in each book for the same reason. 🙌🏻
Watching a lot of booktube, and seeing how many books everyone reads so fast, made me go trough books so quickly, instead of enjoying it. But you made me realise that it’s not about how fast you read, or how many books you read in a month. It’s just about enjoying it. Thank you for that✨. And I can think of nothing more satisfying than having shelves with only books you've read- how wonderful!!! So happy for you and your space and .... to see your face (I saw the chance to rhyme- had to take it).
Oscar Wilde only wrote one book but he's written a lot of poems, short stories and plays. I've heard the importance of being earnest is a good play of his.
I’m so excited for you - getting your first place is such a milestone! As far as stickers on books go, I have used a hairdryer on low for 15 seconds or so to loosen the sticker to help it come off! It doesn’t leave any residue and has been my go-to to remove them (if you want to try it!)
I have so much to say! Firstly what a gorgeous apartment and book shelves - I've never seen any like that before, I love them! I've never seen anyone with so many series, seriously impressive. This made me want to look them up, especially the editions you have. Several of your books are on my tbr and it's made me want to read them sooner. What i looove about Naya is that no matter the flaws of the book, she still enjoys them and has an emotial connection to them. Most booktubers focus more about what they dont like about the books and i feel like they can miss out on a great adventure.

PS if you want to get rid of the stickers on any of your books (I’m thinking particularly of those precious Percy Jacksons that you might be afraid to destroy) put a teensy bit of goo gone on a cloth and rub it on and the sticker should just crumble away. It’s a life saver I swear!

I am re-reading the series and I noticed this trend. I love it. I never noticed this when I was a younger reader, which is a shame.
I read the first 2 and did not notice that trend!
And the last book in the series has 14 chapters, super sad cause it's like finally ending and is less unfortunate with 14 chapters somehow 😁
