Oh! No idea as it never happen to me, or try to do it quick before the UV resin get frozen. I normally put the resin on the side first to form a border and then go to the middle, once this is done, I use the UV light immediately (The UV resin will get hot with the UV light and the liquid will get melted).

I would have tried to use baby lotion or something..also its the first time i have seen the freezer part. I really think i will try to work with resin now

hi there, great vid. just wondered on the waterfall bezel, when you take it out the freezer and are applying rezin to it, it looks like you are only apllying the resin to edges of the bezel and not completely over it, but thinking this cant be right as when the glue mixture defrosts it would just go everywhere, so are you actually applying the whole of the surface to it, ? and also what would be the difference in mixing the glue with normal tap water rather than distilled water, what does the water being distilled do over normal tap water? how long also does it need freezing for, a concern though is when you put the resin on and then use a lighter to rid bubbles does this not melt the frozen bit? thank you, hopefully you undertsand what im trying to explain and i get a response as ive asked other questions before on you tube channels but never seem to get any response. have a good day 😁

Is that kind of surface usually used in making UV resin pieces or can it usually be any surface? I've been thinking of experimenting with resin, but I'm not so sure about the surface and I wouldn't want to do anything unconsciously that could potentially mess up the process... Oh and before I forget, what was the ratio of glue to distilled water you used? Was it randomized, a set amount, or did you watch for a certain consistency of the combination?

White Wolf I'm not the video lady but I know the answers to some of these, the glue might dry but because it's sealed it probably won't since the water in the glue evaporating is how it dries. normal resin might work as long as the ice doesn't melt before it cures. and last, normal water can lose it's clarity over time because it has minerals in it.
I didn't use any ratio as the consistency of different brand of glue may be different, so I add the clear glue bit by bit and then check how the glitters and the mini embellishments flow :)
What material is the surface youre working on made from? I really want to try open bezel resin pieces but Im not sure what sort of surface will work. Is it silicone?
When i use Uv resin, i let it dry under the uv lamp but after is always sticky..i clean it with alcool, i remove the stickyness but it become matte... help T.T
Try to change to the new battery. Mine (a small UV resin piece like 2-3cm ) usually get cured around one minute, if it doesn't, check if the UV light is strong or weak, if this is weak, it's time to change the battery.
Then could be something wrong with the torch, as I used our UV torch with our UV resin, the resin cured in around 1 minute, I will ship you a replacement of the UV torch in your next order :)
I tried this three times with Let’s Resin uv resin. My resin turns white and stays soft when I apply it to the frozen liquid no matter how long I cure it. Suggestions?

I believe the consistency of different clear glue are different, so I cannot tell exactly the mixing ratio, you need to mix them bit by bit with the glitter inside and check how the glitter flow :)
Hi, you need fast curing resin (curing time around 1-3 minutes) to do the job, that is why I need to use UV resin for this project, everything have expire date and I believe it applies to dimensional magic mod podge as well.
Freezing the water is just SO smart! Great project!

It looks pretty strong and durable, but I added extra layer as shown in the video and it gave extra strength to the charms :)

this happend to me .. just cure it for longer next time it was hard but sticky then when I did it longer it worked

UV resin can only be cured by UV light, it cannot be harden by itself.
