My daughter and I live in northern Nova Scotia and like many we wait for a video from "The Farm". We don't just love the dogs and the people: we love people who are interested in spiders and snakes and birds. And we like the feeling of being in Australia too. As we enter our deep freeze time, we love to see the green grass and sunny days and the beach and driving through Sydney. And our 2023 calendar has arrived thanks to my daughter!
I just wanted to say that I sent the book 'Wolfie the unlikely hero.' It was supposed to come with two other books, Evie the Pog and Pugs Don't Wear Pyjamas, but they are obviously sending them one at a time. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a book for Elle with her name in the title, not one that is suitable for her age ❤❤❤
It sounds like poor Chancey Boy may have been the most damaged of all the Doggies who have been rehabilitated. He is such a beautiful boy when, possibly, the only time he has been allowed to be excited is when evil humans have put him in horrendous situations. He has come so far with only a little further to go. I'm barracking for you Chance !! ❤

So many things to comment upon. I’m glad that Neal will see everyone on Thursday, and the shelter dogs can still come on Friday. Sam, to be called a Steel Magnolia is the highest praise a southerner from the USA can give. Wear that title proudly! She is a woman with a spine of steel, as feisty as can be, a mama bear for her young, she stands up for what is right and has a heart of gold. She will do anything for anyone, won’t stand for any sass, all while she exudes grace, beauty, and poise (and a nice set of pearls if she is from the Deep South, meaning Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky or Tennessee!)
I love that Luke doesn’t rush opening gifts. It’s nice he takes the time to read the letters and show the gifts, but I always think - Mom would put the toys away for a rainy day. Luke throws them right into the pool. Dog treats last 45 seconds. People treats sampled on the spot. Instant gratification! I just enjoy hearing you two laugh.❤
It's so true when people say they feel part of the Evans Family.... I live in Sydney and have started observing the weather differently. Last week when we got that cold snap, I automatically thought of Luke in the pool freezing while doing hydrotherapy with Tilly and Lilly. I got up the other day and we had gale force winds.... And automatically thought of how it would effect goings on at The Farm and how it will be hard to record a video with wind blasting the microphone. And when I wake up to perfect sunny skies.... I know the dogs will be having an extra good time....
I'm on the other side of the world and have added Sydney to my weather app and i check it daily before going to bed to see what kind of day they are having at the Farm 😁
I live in Indiana in US and I, too, monitor the weather for the farm. I have also taken to finding Australian news casts on You Tube. You are great ambassadors for Australia. The world has grown smaller because of the Evans Farm.

It’s hard to see Bandit so disabled in his old age. I remember when he used to run full out on a motorbike run or chasing the lure. I hope he’s not in too much pain…..☹️☹️☹️☹️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I watch your videos everyday. They bring me great joy, I love watching all the pups and how you and Luke interact with them . Loved the balls in the trampoline.Joey especially was so much fun to watch .
Can’t thank you enough for helping me see that good people do exist. I have to admit that I was losing faith in there being any deceit people left in the world, but this channel has shown me there is still hope. I don’t have a favorite doggy, because they’re all my favorite’s, however Hope has a piece of my heart for being through so much. It’s just that I relate to her, so it’s nothing personal against the others, because I love you all. ❤
When I was in the hospital last month, apparently I was really bad off, 4 days of the 9 I have no memory of. But once I started feeling better, the first thing I watch of the outside world was your videos. I had missed several so I'd be laying there curled up in the bed, with this big goofy smile on my face. A nurse or a technician (to take blood, vital signs etc) would come in and ask why I was smiling... And I told everyone I could about this channel. And yes it made my day/my stay.... So thank you so much....

But doing better especially breathing than prior to getting sick... And it came on so fast too.... I'm not one who gets sick, but when I do, I make sure to do it all at once lol....

@@sq5 yea that's what I said about myself as well..... Apparently my oxygen was down to 80 for several days, the days I don't have any memory of.... I went in very early Sunday morning, remember about 4 or 5 things after that I remembered calling my husband on Tuesday (we live in different states), then freaking out about my dog who was at home by himself. And that's it. Wasn't till Wednesday that I kind of came out of it and started getting better, after I got help for my dog I was willing to fight to live, but prior I just kept thinking he was going to die, so there was no point.... But it took me till the following Wednesday to be strong enough to go home, with help, my youngest son flew in to be with me for the next two weeks. So yeah I got gobsmacked with everything all at once.... Lol... But once I regained my strength I have felt fantastic... Better than prior to getting ill.... They took good care of me at the hospital, and my son, who is 19, did a fantastic job once we were home... I'm so freaking proud of him... Only time in 50 years I've been hospitalized like that.... Don't want to repeat that again... And like someone else said, this channel is the best prescription....

Dylan is not our only employee but he is very committed to his job which is behind the scenes and we appreciate that commitment to his job very much. Hoping you and others take this the way it is intended. Not everyone involved in the farm is comfortable on camera or sharing information about themselves. Being on camera is not always positive for staff members from experience. I could give examples and I assure you, if I did share what they were and how those people felt about it you would feel more understanding but explaining it and pointing those times out would not be right or necessary. I understand it sounds cryptic possibly. But we’re not a TV show where everyone has applied for a job on camera and on a reality tv show. They’re doing a job that is not involved with the dogs per se and are getting paid for that accordingly. I’m not sure how else to say it so people might understand we’re trying to protect our staff and do the right thing. It’s why we asked if Jason would like to start his own TH-cam channel as he doesn’t mind sharing but he has the ability to manage it himself. This is not just directed at yourself Sharon a few people ask and I thought I’d reply with a little more information for those that might have wondered.
@Sharon McKellar I don't know much about Dylan except that he is clearly a hard and conscientious worker and loves dogs! It seems that he is responsible for a lot of the physical upkeep of the grounds, and I have a lot of respect for the great job he does.I hope he is proud of his work, because it is not always easy. We live on only 5 acres, whereas The Farm is 32 acres, and it is often a challenge for us. So kudos to Dylan!

So,sad,to,see our lovely Bandit limping bless,him he is such a character king of the farm . I have had 2 boxers and love them all for,their,goofy ness . No more for me,though as i am a pensioner now and a strong dog would be foolish and unfair,to,the dog .I now have a beautiful Jack Russell who is the light of my life .

Can’t thank you enough for helping me see that good people do exist. I have to admit that I was losing faith in there being any deceit people left in the world, but this channel has shown me there is still hope. I don’t have a favorite doggy, because they’re all my favorite’s, however Hope has a piece of my heart for being through so much. It’s just that I relate to her, so it’s nothing personal against the others, because I love you all. ❤
When I was in the hospital last month, apparently I was really bad off, 4 days of the 9 I have no memory of. But once I started feeling better, the first thing I watch of the outside world was your videos. I had missed several so I'd be laying there curled up in the bed, with this big goofy smile on my face. A nurse or a technician (to take blood, vital signs etc) would come in and ask why I was smiling... And I told everyone I could about this channel. And yes it made my day/my stay.... So thank you so much....

@@sq5 most definitely!!!! Thank you!!! I had respiratory viral infection, pneumonia, and Mississippi cat scratch Fever..... In other words I got my butt kicked lol.... But doing better especially breathing than prior to getting sick... And it came on so fast too.... I'm not one who gets sick, but when I do, I make sure to do it all at once lol....

@@sq5 yea that's what I said about myself as well..... Apparently my oxygen was down to 80 for several days, the days I don't have any memory of.... I went in very early Sunday morning, remember about 4 or 5 things after that I remembered calling my husband on Tuesday (we live in different states), then freaking out about my dog who was at home by himself. And that's it. Wasn't till Wednesday that I kind of came out of it and started getting better, after I got help for my dog I was willing to fight to live, but prior I just kept thinking he was going to die, so there was no point.... But it took me till the following Wednesday to be strong enough to go home, with help, my youngest son flew in to be with me for the next two weeks. So yeah I got gobsmacked with everything all at once.... Lol... But once I regained my strength I have felt fantastic... Better than prior to getting ill.... They took good care of me at the hospital, and my son, who is 19, did a fantastic job once we were home... I'm so freaking proud of him... Only time in 50 years I've been hospitalized like that.... Don't want to repeat that again... And like someone else said, this channel is the best prescription....

Dylan is not our only employee but he is very committed to his job which is behind the scenes and we appreciate that commitment to his job very much. Hoping you and others take this the way it is intended. Not everyone involved in the farm is comfortable on camera or sharing information about themselves. Being on camera is not always positive for staff members from experience. I could give examples and I assure you, if I did share what they were and how those people felt about it you would feel more understanding but explaining it and pointing those times out would not be right or necessary. I understand it sounds cryptic possibly. But we’re not a TV show where everyone has applied for a job on camera and on a reality tv show. They’re doing a job that is not involved with the dogs per se and are getting paid for that accordingly. I’m not sure how else to say it so people might understand we’re trying to protect our staff and do the right thing. It’s why we asked if Jason would like to start his own TH-cam channel as he doesn’t mind sharing but he has the ability to manage it himself. This is not just directed at yourself Sharon a few people ask and I thought I’d reply with a little more information for those that might have wondered.

@Sharon McKellar I don't know much about Dylan except that he is clearly a hard and conscientious worker and loves dogs! It seems that he is responsible for a lot of the physical upkeep of the grounds, and I have a lot of respect for the great job he does.I hope he is proud of his work, because it is not always easy. We live on only 5 acres, whereas The Farm is 32 acres, and it is often a challenge for us. So kudos to Dylan!
