I agree with everything you said , the only part that I’m still questioning is the “once saved always saved concept.” I grew up going to two churches. One believed that you can lose your salvation if you are living in sin or turn from God. The other believes in the once saved always saved concept. It’s hard to believe that it would be that simple. I know it’s by grace through faith and not works so that’s not what I mean. I believe that Jesus died for me and that he rose again for all who believe in him to have eternal life. But I know too many people that use the once saved always saved concept to remain in sin. Sure, some might of never been saved. But there’s no way that’s true for all of them. Some of them have that conviction but they just won’t change. Whenever I sin, I feel overwhelmed and sad that I disappointed God. I automatically ask for forgiveness and repent. I then continue seeking God because he’s literally my best friend and has been there for me through it all. But I also fear being left behind. Getting closer to him has helped ease that fear. I used to have this irrational fear that if I was doing something wrong like “yelling and swearing at someone “ and at that very moment Jesus came back, I’d be left behind. It’s not as bad any more. I do believe that he looks at the heart and the motive behind our actions. Nonetheless I still do my best to be obedient to him and remain in him. But I’m not perfect , and have asked a few mentors if the once saved always saved concept is true . Some say it is and some says it’s not. I recently had someone tell me that David was begging God to not take his Holy Spirit from him due to his sin. I remember reading that as well but was unsure at the time what he meant. They used that as an example that we can lose our salvation. I decided to start reading the whole Bible myself. I want God to show me rather than asking others. I do believe once you have fully believed and trusted you were saved but the big problem I see is like she describes the free grace doctrine of course you can say they were not truly saved yeah that's true but that's the thing even those who have repented and put full trust in God can still lose salvation by temptation the devil is a thief he will do all he can to try and take your salvation and destroy you that's why there's free grace doctrine work of the devil and you should feel like you fully trust the way your headed in salvation you should feel confident you will go to heaven by your faith and even works because you can be a lazy Christian and not spread the word because that is a important work God never said not to do works. Sin is the reason why people are in hell. 1 John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins he is faithful and just and he will forgive us. Repentance is walking in his way with confession and repentive heart from sin. 1 John 1:6-10 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Agree that we are not saved by works but it says in JAMES 2:14 - What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works. JAMES 2:17 - So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:20 - Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? James 2:21 - Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? James 2:22 - You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works. James 2:24 - You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. We see here with true faith comes works and with out works your faith is nothing it's dead like it says so don't be deceived!! JAMES 2:17 - So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
James 2:20 - Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?
James 2:21 - Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar?
James 2:22 - You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works.
James 2:24 - You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
We see here with true faith comes works and with out works your faith is nothing it's dead like it says so don't be deceived!!
Ezekiel 18:26 - When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
Ezekiel 18:30 - Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
Ezekiel 18:31 - Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
So its's saying here when a righteous person turns away if you are righteous in God's eyes wouldn't you be saved? And then it says he judges everyone according to there ways and says to REPENT!! And turn yourselves away from all your transgressions so iniquity shall not be your ruin. And cast away from you all your transgressions whereby you have transgressed and make you a new heart and spirit. That's not saying feel free to sin you'll be forgiven anyway if you die in that sin unrepentant GOD will NOT save you you will NOT go to Heaven. Ezekiel 18:32 - For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
So turn away repent fully from all willfull sin and have conviction so you don't die in your sins because if you die in your sins and you didn't truly turn away from willfully sinning you will not go to heaven.
If a man be righteous when God said a righteous man turn away and for the iniquity he has done he shall die. It's so easy now we still have a chance to be alive after we have turned to iniquity but won't be promised in the kingdom anymore if we die in that iniquity unrepentant. Don't be deceived!!
What about revelation 3:5 where Jesus says that whoever overcomes shall not have their name blotted out of the book of life. It sounds like you can have your name removed after it has been written. I’m curious about what you think

@@LookinUp_ Each and every person lives a sinful lifestyle every day that's what your flesh does there is no stopping your sinful flesh nature. New creation is what does not sin your flesh does continue to sin everyday. You can however grow in Christ maybe you sin less but it's not a requirement to be saved judging people's fruit is not a good way to determine if one is saved their testimony on the gospel is what you need to hear.
