And yes, Mr. "Carlos" used to smoke while drumming...one writer remarked back in the day how he'd do a great solo then at the end of it exhale a blue cloud. The same writer asked him how he could keep drumming when he was burning holes in his lungs. "Bun's" answer? "I eat only the finest cheeseburgers."
The Donna’s are the greatest chick band to ever exist, I am forever shocked they never got the same if not more recognition than The Go Go’s, The Run Aways or The Bangles, The Donna’s are/were much more talented and definitely rocked much harder.
Love the drums even though I cant play them always thought the drums were cool and you know why cause Kren carpenter liked them too! Today or yesteurday was her birthday and she will always be a shining star in my eyes because I loved her alto voice and the smooth way she sang- could I do it as good as she maybe but with lots of practice you see. Thanks BuN E Carlos foir being cool. I dont think I could meet you I would feel like a fool. But yeah did I like cheap trick back in the day oh yes I did way back when Voices was the popular one but now wioth tears in my eyes as I am older now I will just dream and say Yeah I was tight you know why because she helfd her mouth tight for all te friends secrets but I know that was not what the song was about. You take care you here and I will still be at the store, sonmetimes picking up wine or beer but in moderation cause of course I loved Cheap trick and my friend who passed her name was Julie and and that was hard for me as she was 10 years ypunger than me. You take care too and one day when the moon is right in summer winter spring or fall I will say thank you friend for inspiring me too as she was the light the star the moon for her friends and I liked her too. @glebe3047 - nope, Bun E has had real bad back problems recently making heavy touring difficult and was missing more and more shows due to it. Rick's son Daxx has filled in for him . Bun E is still part of Cheap Trick as their studio drummer and will appear live occasionally. He played w/ them in Vegas for the Sgt Pepper run.
TOTALLY agree, I've seen them twice, once in like 2000 with Dax on drums, and then in 05 with FRONT ROW TICKETS, and it was my kids first concert (GEE did THEY have a good time??)
