I don’t have written one but here ya go, let me know if you have any questions. Using black chain 33 then from the second chain from the hook half double crochet across. 5 total rows of black, then 2 rows of red, 1 row of orange, 5 rows of red, 1 row of orange, 2 rows of red, 10 rows of black, 2 rows of red, 1 row of orange, 5 rows of red, 1 row of orange, 2 rows of red, and final 5 more rows of black. Seem the sides with 5 rows of black together and then seem up the top and it’s done. 🧡
So I believe I did 2 rows of red, 1 row of orange, 7 rows of red, 1 row of orange, 2 rows of red. The easiest way to put the orange stripes closer is changing the number of red rows in the middle. For example you can do 4 rows of red then 1 orange row, 3 rows of red, 1 orange row, 4 rows of red. That will move them closer together. I recommend keeping the same total, so for the videos example the total colored rows on either side is 13 as long as the red/orange rows total 13 then the pattern should still work. Good luck! I used 2 strands of weight 4/ worsted yarn. Holding both threads as 1. Easy brands for this are like red heart super saver or Joann’s big twist value worsted or lion brand pound of love. If you want to use a thicker yarn and only 1 strand, lion brand thick n quick is a good one.🧡
