Giro D'Italia 2024 Vlog | Incredible day watching the Giro!!

Wow, how lucky am I to have had my first taste of a grand tour! I've travelled from Australia to see the Giro, Pogacar, Thomas and the spectacle that is the Italian Grand Tour! Experiencing the Giro D'Italia as a fan on the ground is something I will never forget, and I feel truly grateful to have watched Narvaez pick up an epic win on Stage 1!
Soaking up the pre-race atmosphere, checking out the team buses and seeing all of the big names in the build-up was so special, especially in such a beautiful part of the world. If there's anything that I got wrong, please feel free to comment and forgive my pronunciation - travelling between Italy, France and Spain is helping greatly!

I've seen hundreds of races live and I have to say that I've never heard anyone explaining how the sport works at a level that everyone can understand. nice work +1 subscriber. ps we should go watch a race together hahaha

Yep, you're right about neutral service, Shimano in this case. It's not limited to bikes either, they more often than not provide tires. Having said all that, in practice, only on a few occasions, you will see neutral support used as riders much prefer their own bikes.

I was going to say, I have almost never seen them used so perhaps somewhat tokenistic and a good advertisement opportunity for shimano 🤷
I did also see the shimano motor bikes with all the spare wheels too to prevent any Froome-like hill sprints hahaha
