Fun fact: You don't even need to upgrade the car to win the race. You know, there's some delay in the car's launch if using the automatic gearbox, the trick is to redline the engine on N then put D just before the green light comes in, just not too early.

There is a better way to load the truck. Park it on a flat space and don't use the parking brake. The parking brake disables the physics of the vehicle and causes all sorts of problems with the stuff being carried in/on the vehicle.
