Anyone got the best skill distribution for 240 katana? Are you guys running dark skills lv 10 SH and 10 EN or is there a better build?
Also new katana skills seem not worth the points other than the passive for combat power up, or are they worth maxing?
well the skill you need in ktn t5 is only shadowless lv1(it doesn't affect divine dmg; it just increases the dmg of the skill itself since divine dmg comes from garyou) and kamigetsuga is not a must. You just get to keep your tenryu longer, but for some bosses, you might spam magadachi for i-frame. About dauntless, it's not a must also. You just get dmg bonus for bosses you need to fight longer. And most of the time your dauntless stacks don't go beyond 50 stacks when playing with a party. Now about the Nukiuchi Sennosen, this skill is interesting, it's like shadowless slash which has a new combo(skill name: Swift Pulse Blade). The combination is Opener>Pulse Blade(smite)>finale(smite) when the skill is ready(it's considered ready when your katana is shining. This combo is useful for bosses who don't let you get close or when the spam AOE skills. Btw, the dmg depends on Nukiuchi Sennosen and Pulse Blade skill level, so be mindful of that. As for me, I'm just using full 2h ktn w/o ninja skills cus I think it's more fun and easier to play with than ktn sh and ktn ninja.

i think nerf is just that it wont auto active kairiki .now u have to active kairiki ur self before using divine.
Constant also has been decreased from 1000 to 500 without armor break
Well im happy as long as it does more damage than draconic charge, since that skill is, yknow, spammable.
people always say that divine slash are too OP. although it takes time to accumulate stacks and this skill is not a spamable skill. And yes even today divine got nerf from asobimo ಥ‿ಥ

lmao 1m dmg reduction at 10 dauntless stks....... wtf do u mean not too much decrease? the decrease is percentage based so the higher ur dauntless stks, the more noticeable the dmg difference would be.... also its not a spammable so it needs a huge arse time to accumulate unlike a certain charge and a certain c.fire of a certain hb and bow...... those r spammable and deals huge arse dmg...... the total amount of time a ktn needs to stk garyu thn use divine slash combo is enough for a hb user to spam dragonic charge or bow cf multiple times alr
Yep the nerf is fair since divine slash was busted(Still is). Idk why people are still whining at the nerf since it’s still a unsheathe garyou no matter how you look at it plus halberd pretty much got nerfed way worse to the point of strikestab+dt being better(Tier 3 and 4 skills).

i observed tht the dmg reduction at higher dauntless stks was rly noticable since dauntless increases ur dmg by a certain percentage so at higher stks, the more obv the dmg reduction
(still salty abt the only minimal dmg reduction of dragonic charge tbh... tht skill is spammable and it still deals a huge arse dmg)

More sp can be obtain at emblems. Look for emblems that gives sp.
Still a big loss to katana I'm just saying it's been along time since ktn gets a major update but seems it gets a big nerf after 2weeks of using kt
I wouldn't say losing 500 constant big though, since it still has that bullshit 100% pp, 30+ mult, and +100 crit
