its a shame how close it is to being perfect. just needs a couple little things to be just slightly different or looked into and improved. i hope in a few months it gets sold as a better blaster, or maybe in the future there will be a colonel wasp 78 which gets closer to perfection
@ what you said is true, but i was more talking about things like modifying the back piece that holds the spring into being a proper buffer tube, changing the button used to turn the blaster off, making alterations to things like the grip battery door, improving the quality of the screws at the front, etc. these are all things that could be done by using different parts, or making slight redesigns to existing parts and making those parts better. These are things that could be done in the future, and then permanently added to the wasp 77 as an update to the default blaster you order, or maybe even as an upgrade package. This happens to some other blasters too like the xyl unicorn. Buying one when it first released and buying one a year from then, you are going to get a slightly different blaster. Same could be done here
The trigger issue is resolved with a bearing trigger. I'll have to link you the thing. There is also the file for the buffer tube conversion that is free on thingiverse.
I’ve been following you for many years off and on. I have to say your production quality has improved greatly. Even tho nerf isn’t my thing any more i still find your videos entertaining.
Was skeptical at first cause I had the 76 but TaG talked me into it and I bought one very early. I absolutely adore it. The negative are very soft, personally the trigger, yes it's wider and stiffer than others, but not that big of a deal that I'd want to open the blaster and shave it. It's very manageable as is. The power button, can't argue with that lol I only wished it had quick barrel swap. Oh and also, you can fit a buffer tube stock on it, couple pass of electric tape to make it tight and voilà! You won't be able to adjust it but it'll be more comfortable than that atrocious thing they call a stock lol
It's still kind of amazing that it's taken this long for a nerve to evolve in this way seeing how the stampede is effectively the same thing but came out decades ago.
IMO, this is the best AEB u can get in market. Sure the sweetheart storm is smoother and the electronic trigger is the best I ever encountered but it's super ex. This wasp 77 maintain the compact size while without sacrificing the firepower.
The only things missing imo is a second pic rail under the gearbox so you can have both a foregrip and a picobooper, and a proper buffer tube. Make those changes and fix the little quirks of the blaster, and it might be my new favorite primary. And it's painted clear!
I've kinda brainstormed a gas cycled aeb, (still spring powered but the movement is provided by co2 or hpa) but the biggest problem I see is the required volume of gas per shot
@@mitchhifi9192 and fps is all that matters. Wasp 77 can allow u to hit opponents from far. Bk1S can't. And wasp 77 still can manual prime if battery runs out.
Great video, may I suggest a riser for your red dot? Quite a bit easier to get sight picture and not be scrunched up trying to get a cheek weld. I know nothing of blasters but for firearms, a riser gives you a much faster, more comfortable sight picture.
Great video, just wondering if you ever thought about doing a collaboration with DrFlux and Shiloh&Bros? This is due to me really wanting to see Shiloh and her brothers using different weapons, maybe even the MOAB😂.
Been looking forward to your review of the Storm Blizzard/Sweetheart Storm for a while now. Any reason that review to a backseat?..imo it's pretty much thr enda all be all of all blasters. Bought one last year and haven't really looked into anything else since 😂... ...or maybe that's why your holding off..once people try it, there's no going back
I mean finally as you know nerf modders have been using AEG gearboxs for a while so I'm happey that a comercal Nerf blaster has it now!... Also why did nerf use flywheels anyway? Like that type a shoting machism is only really used uin Nerf despite being a very old conecpt...
I love this thing! We need more analog blasters in the hobby, or at least mosfet systems. You don't need to worry about current stepdowns to get stuff done properly. A laffs dynamics "lil chonkers" rear grip I think would push an average finger back better than with an A2 style grip would. The buffer being an odd sizing is intentional. Chinese law prevents that sort of thing with Chinese based and operated companies. A 3d printed shim at the least would make it usable for airsoft/real steel.
could you do a wh40k darktide bolt pistol paint over a nerf ultra 5? like olive green paint job, and imperial aquila instead of ultra on the sides of the gun, and maybe give it a more potent spring and larger internal magazine or sand the chamber a bit to make it easier to load ultra darts that would be pretty cool
Not gonna lie i really like this style of blaster but it should get a lot of modification and tuning to make it more responsible like brushless motor and proper shimming
If there's ever a Colonel Wasp 79, it might actually be perfect.
I need a Colonel Wasp 74 AK style blaster
Edit: I need this

What about 69?
Could make Coop go giggity

The trigger is heavy. Other than that, there is not much weakness for this AEB.

The stripping screws sucks! Need insert threads on quality blasters
Merry Christmas Walcom!

This thing is just pure fun!! I just finished carving myself a SWIN barrel to put in and make it better! Excellent video as always!

Merry Christmas! Your gift from me is a question: what Picatinny sight do you use, and is it available on Amazon? Hope you have a great holiday today!
This one was from Evike, they sent it with a review sample a long time ago. Not sure slwhat it's called but I'm certain somebody will correct me.
@@WalcomS7 seeems to be an aimpoint lookalike, maybe a t1
Merry Christmas walcom!
This thing looks amazing! Merry Christmas Walcom, good job on the video!!
Merry Christmas dude
Love the content. Would love to see a review of the Nerf Titan AS-V.1. Loved that thing when I was a kid. Have a happy new year!
It's still kind of amazing that it's taken this long for a nerve to evolve in this way seeing how the stampede is effectively the same thing but came out decades ago.
I don't know how I feel about the rise of AEB's...
BUT this thing looks freaking awesome and I want one now 😂
yooooo its you! merry Christmas bro
😂

Merry Christmas, Walcom!
Super excited for this gun😊
It seems like I finally found a nerf AEG that suits me perfectly 😁
Great review Walcom and merry Christmas!🎉
How is this an aug??? The AUG is a bullpup.
@thefogiscomingthef0giscoming oops, I was mean AEG

I hope people are able to make more aeg blasters in the future because I think they are sick
(Merry Christmas)
Good to see an AEG with quick spring swaps. It's a shame about the rest of the blaster though.
when will we see your take on the 77?
Nice Christmas present a new Blaster review. I hope everyone here has a nice Christmas Holiday
A Mark II version of this would be absolutely sweet if they improve all of the little minor issues
| blurring the lines between nerf and airsoft
i would absolutely love to see a Gas Blow Back NERF weapon
that thing would be illegal.
Also there is an HPA version called the Milsig M79
This has blowback but not gas, the recoil is quite heavy on this AEB.
I've kinda brainstormed a gas cycled aeb, (still spring powered but the movement is provided by co2 or hpa) but the biggest problem I see is the required volume of gas per shot
love the clear plastic
Manual option is awesome
I fell like every AEG under $1000 is still in prototype phase. I’m gunna wait a few years.
Naah they've come so far recently, like the BK-1s etc cheap AEGs are here and they work well. The BK1s is better then this just not as high fps
@@mitchhifi9192 and fps is all that matters. Wasp 77 can allow u to hit opponents from far. Bk1S can't. And wasp 77 still can manual prime if battery runs out.
I understand your point, but the 77 is very much a finished product for what it cost
RIP to the Riko nesoberi

correct title: Walrus Commander S7 reviews Colonel Wasp 77

...or maybe that's why your holding off..once people try it, there's no going back
It's coming up. I've filmed it a few times now, including yesterday.
I really liked the MP40 Colonel Wasp. but this, THIS is just nuts. Kinda reminds me of the HG40 from black ops 3 ngl
6:21 now why would anyone want to open up their blaster?/j
tragic
Merry Christmas, boss!
Nice Salmon Run T-Shirt!
Well that sold out quick
I don’t know about you guys, I’m excited for the colonel wasp 69
You should do a review of the woozi
try a fixed buffer tube stocke like the Magpul moe fixed stock
Is there a chance it could use a larger mag like a cylinder?
Unfortunately m416 no longer sells the blaster
"..with the low power spring hitting upwards of 240 fps"
bro
I see that foregrip is a worker? Can I buy that and run it on my real steel ar?
Yeah it's from Worker, came with the Seagull; but I wouldn't trust it on a firearm. I'm not your dad though.
Is there a sub 100 fps spring? My cousin will not play with me with that fps
on the topic of AEG's I need some help. I was looking toward buying a BK1S, but there is the BK2S. I don't know the difference between both.
I hath arrived first, merry Christmas
is that a 11.1v battery or a 7.4?
3s is 11.1v.
Love the video
I brought it and I have to say it's very good except dropped it once and mud got in the spring making it kinda stop
The trigger pull was what turned me off. I hate getting pinched by plastic.
Gotta use your finger tip instead. Good practice for it anyways. But it doesn't excuse the terrible trigger it should have never had.
Well shit, now I want one even more lol
Sold out :(
Dont get this. Wait for 78. This 77 is a fix the 76 flaw, 77 is a fixed of 76, 78 is the Fix all from 77. Which will be better.
The 76 broke and this doesnt looks like its built any better
thats what I though also, but the 77 is carbon reinfored polycarb. day and night from the 76, the 77 is sturdy as fuck
I want it!
So... It's a short-dart version of the old Stampede?
I miss when Nerf wasn’t in the least bit serious.
This is wild. I didn't know this was a "thing". Um I shoot real guns
I mean finally as you know nerf modders have been using AEG gearboxs for a while so I'm happey that a comercal Nerf blaster has it now!... Also why did nerf use flywheels anyway? Like that type a shoting machism is only really used uin Nerf despite being a very old conecpt...
Happy Holidays, Walcom. Thanks for the review, while the 77 can have more umpf, I'll stick with my BK1s.
monkee mods just cant make a good trigger can they?
They didn't make the blaster.
@@lekievans2318 there are third party trigger available now. It can reduce the load significantly.

I’ve been enjoying mine. I’ve designed quite a few 3d printed parts for quality of life issues.
This is one AEB you don’t “upgrade”

This setup needs to mature, but it is the future for pro nerf.
I would not doubt that this would be illegal in nj
at this point just get an airsoft gun
Tiny little bbs are not as fun to shoot as foam darts.
@WalcomS7 also, bloody how its the same thing but it hurts more and gives a little realism
Would rather have the budget BK1S with proprietary mags until a proper affordable AEB releases
This wasp 77 is a proper AEB. It can accept a far more powerful spring and hit 280 fps. Something BK1S can't do it.
Oh no, why is it translated? This AI voice is so bad -.-
