I agree that when God does not give us what we want it's actually protection in disguise. While it's difficult to accept why things might not go our way at times, in retrospect it always makes sense eventually. I think one of my biggest lessons of this year has been that when people show you who they are, it's best to believe them. I am also learning that to be courageous that you need to also be vulnerable and put yourself out there and sometimes embrace discomfort - not always easy to do but so worth it in the end.
