So many people don’t seem to like yellow-but it is indispensable to me. I have different shades of it on most of the walls of my home-and it does make me very happy! (Besides, yellow bounces more light than any other color, and I adore light.). I love the shades you used (I don’t have any use for very pastel yellows, or those that have green in them)! Gorgeous, gorgeous collages. I am becoming totally addicted to your videos, and eager to see what you do in your mesmerizing journal.

Congratulations on struggling through and being successful. I think that the problem with the last page you were working on was that the purple and aubergine didn't really 'like' each other very much. When you covered them, even partially, it made it easier for them to coexist. Thanks for sharing your boundless enthusiasm and incredible talent.
I think it’s hilarious that you just had to tone that page down because it was “too yellow” and then it turned into orange! I’m still struggling with orange and only accomplished backgrounds but as I watch and listen to you I realize that I’m probably overthinking and trying to do too much! I also appreciate the contrast you add, leaving the topic color not “screaming out!”

You are right, I guess the struggle is good, bc that's the challenge! And if you don't struggle and defeat the challenge, you can't get better. Love your work and thinking. You are psychic! As you were placing the dark circle, I said "I like that but I wonder how it would look if the center was taken out" to which you replied " I didn't take the center out because I want to put something in the center." 🤣
This opened up automatically in my feed for some reason and I heard what you were saying about Indian yellow. It is true how it was made but it sad that your only take away was it was a funny story about the smell of ammonia. The animals who were used to create this pigment were treated were treated extremely cruelly and usually died in agony.
I love yellow, but not the dull ones! Really delighted with how you added to the subtle yellows to make them zing. Reckon I can keep trying my unfavourite colours .....mustard and custard, here I come!

This video was special, I was hysterical, actually though had a mouth full of coffee at one point, almost sprayed it all over my art work...what would you say about that? "Just go with it, it'll be okay everything dries eventually, it has interest and texture" Well if we're painting with urine yellow we can accept coffee stains! Love ALL your videos!!😂

I LOVE yellow, but use it mostly as an accessory color. My favorite of yours this week was day 3 - before you hid the yellow at the top right :-0 .... Day 8 is also gorgeous - yellow and grey is a combo I like a lot...
I love your videos and this one was great as always! You may have struggled but you taught us that we can succeed, even if we do struggle. And when you added the aubergine to that page, I felt so much better! You really arted that page into line simply by following your own advice - keep at it until you’re satisfied.

Great job with yellow, Froyle! I've always struggled with this color and use it mostly as an accent, but there are so many things that are yellow that I love like the sun, daffodils, etc. I'll have to rethink my use of it now that you have inspired me.

😂 I have issues with yellow. I can handle it in small doses, particularly if it is not the main player, but even then, I only like certain shades and tints. Years ago (maybe 15) I was in an art journaling class taught by a dear friend. As we were binding our journals, she encouraged us to select a color that we didn’t usual work with, when painting the cover. I chose yellow. OMG, WTH?!? While I used the journal in the class, I never touched it again. Occasionally, I’d give it a bit of side-eye when I’d spot it in my studio. I hated it with a burn hate that bordered on hate. Finally, I cut the binding apart and stomped on the hideous yellow thing. My friend is still my friend, but whenever she says, “Choose a color you don’t normally work with,” I NOW IGNORE HER. There is no therapy for some of us in this regard. LOL!
Loved the video! My happy go to yellow tones are lemon yellow, sunflowers and honeycomb yellow. Otherwise I'm like, yeh where's the bucket!🤣 We all have our own colour preferences that make us happy that are different to each other.

I love watching you create. Everything came out beautifully. I felt yellow was going to be a challenge until I saw some feathers and butterfly’s in my stash that contained yellow. This opened up automatically in my feed for some reason and I heard what you were saying about Indian yellow. It is true how it was made but it sad that your only take away was it was a funny story about the smell of ammonia. The animals who were used to create this pigment were treated were treated extremely cruelly and usually died in agony.
Totally barbaric, it’s just as well such practices have stopped, cheers 😘
I love yellow, but not the dull ones! Really delighted with how you added to the subtle yellows to make them zing. Reckon I can keep trying my unfavourite colours .....mustard and custard, here I come!

This video was special, I was hysterical, actually though had a mouth full of coffee at one point, almost sprayed it all over my art work...what would you say about that? "Just go with it, it'll be okay everything dries eventually, it has interest and texture" Well if we're painting with urine yellow we can accept coffee stains! Love ALL your videos!!😂

I LOVE yellow, but use it mostly as an accessory color. My favorite of yours this week was day 3 - before you hid the yellow at the top right :-0 .... Day 8 is also gorgeous - yellow and grey is a combo I like a lot...

Great job with yellow, Froyle! I've always struggled with this color and use it mostly as an accent, but there are so many things that are yellow that I love like the sun, daffodils, etc. I'll have to rethink my use of it now that you have inspired me.

😂 I have issues with yellow. I can handle it in small doses, particularly if it is not the main player, but even then, I only like certain shades and tints. Years ago (maybe 15) I was in an art journaling class taught by a dear friend. As we were binding our journals, she encouraged us to select a color that we didn’t usual work with, when painting the cover. I chose yellow. OMG, WTH?!? While I used the journal in the class, I never touched it again. Occasionally, I’d give it a bit of side-eye when I’d spot it in my studio. I hated it with a burn hate that bordered on hate. Finally, I cut the binding apart and stomped on the hideous yellow thing. My friend is still my friend, but whenever she says, “Choose a color you don’t normally work with,” I NOW IGNORE HER. There is no therapy for some of us in this regard. LOL!

Loved the video! My happy go to yellow tones are lemon yellow, sunflowers and honeycomb yellow. Otherwise I'm like, yeh where's the bucket!🤣 We all have our own colour preferences that make us happy that are different to each other.
