- Rundle Mall is the first and only pedestrian street mall located here in Adelaide, South Australia. It was opened as a pedestrian mall in September 1976 by closing the section of Rundle Street between King William Street and Pulteney Street, to vehicular traffic.
Please use headphones/earbuds if you would like to hear the city sounds in more detail. I hope you enjoyed the walk and thanks for watching! :)

What a city it is ,just love Adelaide!!
Visited Adelaide as a Sydney guy in October last year. Had heard nothing but negative things about the city but enjoyed my visit very much. The layout of the city with wide avenue-like streets and plenty of open space was brilliantly designed. Will certainly return again.
Glad you liked it Jason, things are improving here. It’s got a lot going for it IMHO. Thanks for watching, have a great day :)
Adelaide is the best place to live
It's not too bad here, thanks for watching!
Adelaide is simply the best and the addition of the mall, the balls and the pigs make it a most desirable destination. Why? Because I live here! Melbourne is great and Sydney is brilliant, but Adelaide beats them all. See you at the Malls Balls, a common meeting place for Mall attendees🥰
Great walk! I miss Adelaide!
Thanks very much, glad you liked it. Hope it brings back some good memories. Have a great day and thanks for watching 🙌
I was in Adelaide last December and I fell in love with the city. As an American, I find Australia a wonderful place. I will definitely return to Adelaide in the near future for an extended stay until you Aussies kick me out…😊
I'm glad you enjoyed it, it's a great place to live that's for sure. Thanks for watching 😀
I’ve a got a couple of American neighbours now, really lovely people. Even doing shopping now I am hearing a lot more North American accents. My child’s school has a growing number of Latin Americans. Adelaide is becoming so worldly & I love it.
Miss Rundle Mall. So many fond memories of days spent here ❤
It’s a nice Mall, hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 🙏
Yes, me, too.
Very nice video 😀😃
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching :)
This should have started at the beehive corner .
Great video. Love Adelaide - would leave Perth for dead. Mall has SO much more to offer in Adelaide hands down 👌♥️
Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Have a great day! 😀
I'm going to Melbourne, Adelaide & Brisbane this June. Can't wait! 😊
That’s great, I hope you have a fantastic time. Perfect time to watch some AFL footy as well 🙌
@@walkaboutbenThank you so much for the great video! That helps a lot 😊
Hey Ben that was great! So what are you using for a camera? Very sharp picture and great colour. Bruce 🇨🇦
Thanks Bruce for your positive feedback. I was using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 on this one. I’m glad you liked it, I hope you’re having a great day over in Canada and thanks for watching. 🙏
My Pocket 3 should be here tomorrow or Friday for sure. Looking forward to trying it out. I have a TV show in town here that is all filmed on a pocket 2 and GoPros. They show is all across Canada on the community channels. I get nothing but positive feedback from my viewers. I have Subscribed to your channel so keep up your awesome content. Bruce
@brucebrown5863 it surprised me how well it all works for an all in one kit. That’s awesome Bruce and thanks for subscribing, I’ve done the same on your channel. Keep up the great work also! 🙌
Did you see my video with Garth from Queensland just over 3 weeks ago? He came all the way from Australia to come for a walk, pretty cool. We went out to Goldstream park to see the salmon run. Unfortunately they hadn’t started coming up yet. I will try again in a couple of weeks. The video is called An Autumn walk in a favourite Vancouver island Park.
I just watched it now, looks amazing 🤙@@brucebrown5863
Adelaide city centre is what I think Perth would look like without mining money : )
I’ve never been to Perth but I’ll take your word for it 👍
Perth is a lot busier than Adelaide with a million more population. Every street mall in Australia looks the same tbh .Bourke St mall looks the same as this and Hay St mall in Perth ..
ho hum?? mall is a mall. while i was there ? way back back then buskers were main attraction not just cookie cutter stores.
Thanks for your comment, have a great day.
