As a barber i think its good to know that when female or males start balding they can actually prevent it.
Males can go to their doctor and request finasteride which will completely stop the hairfall and regain some of the lost hair.
Female and males can use minoxidil (but i see it as a more temporary solution) can also be used to grow a beard.

Man, I haven’t ever been artistic in my life. I struggle to write my own name down lol. When it comes to shaving my facial hair all I really ever done is let it grow or just shave it all off I’m not creative at all.. I think we need to pay more respect to some of these barbers cause I don’t know what I’d do without them. True talent to do something like this I don’t even know where I’d begin to start. Amazing work man !
You would be surprised at how much creativity can come out of a person that calls themselves unartistic, given the right headspace. I thought I was just uncreative and stopped way too early before I could get into anything.

I reckon an inch or a little more off of the length of the beard would have nailed it.
My thoughts too. The last inch of the beard looks a bit sparse, it is better to have it a bit shorter but fuller.

Wouldnt use wet products on the hair when someone is balding. You can cover much more skin with dry hair.

I am impressed by the ongoing consultation as the procedure progresses. Excellent communication leads to happiness for both and a wonderful result. The experience of the barber shows and his welcoming, warm regard... The skill is obvious- would trust him to groom my man!
Dude every barber I've ever been to just did whatever they wanted without regard to what i wanted. This guy cares a lot about what the customer wants!

My anxiety is always high when I watch this because I myself trusted the wrong person to trim my beard a yr ago! Going on 4 yrs now and never going back!

I think any man who wants to grow a beard and keep it should make it a point to learn how to trim it himself (even if he knows a trustworthy, reliable barber who specializes in beard trims) , that way you're not only doing it the way YOU like it (other people's opinions are secondary, IF they matter at all, as far as I'm concerned!; for what it's worth, I also thought he had the right attitude about how his wife could adjust to him having one), but you learn through trial and error what works best for you (every man's beard is unique).

I watched this video and so did the barber here where I’m at. This is by far the best cut on this channel. The attention to detail was bad ass. Looking at the beard blend into the skin was a bit wild but it worked perfectly. Saw the fade and was thinking should of been a 1 on the sides and fade but the bald fade was perfect. Two thumbs up sir from West side San Antonio. 👍🏽👍🏽

For those with not much beard density, the blow dryer is a no no, it makes the beard look very thin... tamed, but thin.
Efficient communication between barber and client can make watching a haircut video such a pleasant experience

Even tho he said, he'll get back to the hair when he is done with the beard. The main part about beeing a barber is details, these guys just showcase how much shitshow products they have. :))))

It’s changed his whole vibe and perceived personality. Never seen anyone whose head hair and beard hair are different colors. Agree with others the beard could be tighter.
My hair is between blonde and brown but my beard is red. It's a pretty neat look.
For some reason, I get blonde hairs on my beard when I've had black head hair, body hair, etc all my life.

When I was in my twenties I once tried to grow a beard. It did not work for me. The never ending itching drove me crazy. So off it went and off it stayed for the rest of my life. A daily clean shave is what I need.
I'm supposed to be working on spreadsheets but I have been watching dudes cut hair for like 2 hours straight.

James, you’re a wonderful barber. I have one suggestion. I’m half deaf. I rely upon being able to read lips. When I watch you speaking I can only see your lower lip moving up and down. Your moustache covers your upper lip and the corners of your mouth. Because of so much coverage I can’t read your lips. Trimming your moustache to reveal your upper lip and the corners will make it possible for deaf and hard of hearing people to read your lips. I recommend this for every man with a beard.
I know that this video has closed captions (sadly auto generated), but irl the deaf community will consider you to be heroic if you take the time to trim your moustache.

It's so kooky when men have scalp hair that's one color and a beard that's a completely different color, like this man. My beard was never that different, although now that it's grey / white, it is very different.
My hair is blackish brown but when it comes to my beard the moustache is golden/blonde mixed with black and the rest of my beard is black. It's so weird but I love it 😂
@@Blackcrowfj I'm now remembering that many decades ago, my beard around my mouth was more blond while the rest was brown. Gradually it all turned dark brown.

Great transformation. This dude has great hair. As a bald person, I wish I had taken the preventive steps/treatment while it was possible. He can definitely still save that thinning if he cares to. If yiu want to save it man, start that process now.

Nice transformation. I think the beard would have looked stronger a bit shorter up front. Looked a little too much like a long goatee in the front, IMO.

The customer is lucky........he had smooth, clean skin for such a high cut. That auburn color in his beard is gorgeous, I think it could have used a bit of sheen or shine in it...would have been awesome. And he's very lucky to have those shapes of eyebrows, they work perfectly with that type of cut!!! I'm sure his wife was ecstatic!!

Yea. Definitely needed a little more fading but could also be the clients head. It looks like his head sinks in at certain spots. My head does that and unless you cut it super short, you're not fading my sides out as clean as you see other guys with great fades because they have regular heads

I'm one of those. I can't grow a beard. On the sides there is a hair here and there. Only thing that grows natually on me is goat beard. I would love to have full beard. After 2 months of no shaving I don't have side beard at all.
