Loved ur vlog exploring our Udupi , but u forgot to mension about our beautiful language which is Tulu , I think Tulu is one & only one language in which even a waiter in hotel is called as Boss ( Dani ) with respect . That's TuluNadu ❤️

I am watching this video from my beach home in Kaup just 1 km away from the light house. Now u can travel from Malpe to Kaup via the beautiful coastal road.

Stayed in India for a month-three weeks in a village called Shastan🍈🌴🏡🌳 back in Aug.-Sept.2013.Did yoga & we also built two houses & a bus stop🚌through the local rotary club.(Which,not surprisingly,was torn down after a couple of weeks;)I do remember watching Wolverine in Udupi☔💦It was cut quite a lot LOL.There were no subtitles,& in the middle of the movie,just as I fell asleep for a few minutes,all the lights were turned on.We did'nt know the film included a five min.brake😊What an experience!Went to the beach🐚⛵& went to see the Temple...I lost 30 000 rupis,& wanna know what..?This wonderful young man found them & handed me the money😍I also stayed in Mysore,Mangalore & Mumbai.Lots of adventures,but my memories goes back to Udupi🌄,& this rather small village I got to know so well.Got bitten by a dog too,a long scooter ride for sure.It was hard work mentally & physically,I've been to many places,but The Udupi area is somewhat underrated as the nature is stunning.The ice-cream was very good indeed🍨It took about four hours by jeep to visit a so-called "holy man" up in the hills.I'm not religious,but the real vice men did'nt speak too load.👳🌿Unfortunately I lost my cellphone,with pictures- & contacts I made during the stay.I also finally came to realize,despite being brought up in eight different countries in North West of Europe,that we're not that different really💅.Great video☺✌

Nice documentation....what i did was, stayed in the dharmashala at udupi(rs 50 per day!!!!) Free food at the temple premises and local bus from udupi to malpe beach(10rs) so i saved so much of money and went to many more places....u can take a train or a bus(within 50rs) and abt 2 hours to murudeshwara and spend another day over there...most of the time i travel solo and its absolutely safe for solo women travelers too!!!

MY ancestral village is along the banks of river Swarna close to Malpe. Visited Malpe but missed going to St Mary's island. Will definitely keep in mind visiting this place. Aerial view of Kaup was excellent.
Earth is such a beautiful place.. only if we could raise our heads up from the blaring screens of our phone and computers we will truly experience the amazing world we live in. If you get the boat near the malpe harbour, it'll be 250/- per head and you can spend time till evening 5.30 pm on the island.

Few things one will observed in udupi,
Clean city, much much cleaner than most cities in india
Lovely, and helpful people, I still need to come across people who are so respectful to each other.
The language,beach and food are just cherry on cake. Just avoid going in summers😋

Udupi station. Ya aap Mangalore utarkar bhi ja sakte ho. Mangalore to Udupi 2 ghante hai bus se.

Whenever u came to visit Delta beach on ur left side there is small hotel , taste neer Dosa with chicken sukkha... Loved ur volgs and colour correction and visit sasthana beach...best beach to enjoy

U have put a really nice video. Udupi is my hometown. It's a really awesome place with humble people. Next time you visit Udupi, do visit Kudlu-theertha falls about 25kms from Manipal. It's mind blowing.

Next time: Don't miss to watch at least a portion of "Yakshagana Bayalata - a very special traditional music/dance drama through the night and also watch some boothardhane, loca special prayers to hoy spirits and demi-gods. Really special. Also, show and talk about the oldest and highest ranked private university. in India Manipal university. Also, you missed Kanakana Mantapa around the temple- legend has it that when Kanaka, a low caste devotee of Krishna called from outside and was looking through the window, the deity completely turned 180 degrees. This - for the believers - is most amazing miracles of this place.
