Hey guys, fab vlog. You walked along Brixham Breakwater. Berry Head is up the hill, from the Maretime Pub road, all the way up the hill, to Berry Head and the Garrison. If you thought the wind was bad where you were, then Berry Head would have flown you to France...😂
Hi there. Thanks for watching our video. We are so glad you enjoyed it. The day after when we realised we went back and walked right up the the Berry Head hotel for a cheeky beer. The view from there was incredible and yes very windy 😂 😂

Brixham is such a beautiful place, this episode covers it perfectly. Laughed at the musical youth gag… then you bought a pastie with the douchy on the left hand side. Just genius… lovely tribute to Claire’s grandfather at end. Never knew that beach was there but I do now. Hello from a very windy Cotswolds. We use the bus a lot with the brilliant £2 fares. We carry bed bug spray though. Mainly for ourselves to save spreading it! Seemed to be a bit of a problem with the jokes on this one. For what it’s worth, I liked them.

Like Hillhead but you have to choose your pitches carefully coz of the wind. We normally visit end of September. Saw seals and even a dolphin. Chippy on the end of the quay on the left towards Rock Fish is great. Does great fish and chips. Then an ice cream for dessert. Or if you ever watched Fish Town the road up by the Duchy takes you to their chippy. Bet granddad wandered the Brixham battery where there's a museum about the area, buts shut from Oct. Its bear the bench you sat at in Battery Gardens. X

That brings back memories. Part of our Honeymoon was aboard a converted fishing boat , in that harbour.
Which would have been much nicer if the boat hadn't had a fuel leak that made it smell like someone was painting using gloss, day and night.😢
Brixham was a lovely place to stay for a few days. Fish and chips were popular but they still havent got the trick with mushy peas....😮

I spent 25 years of my life from 20-45 years old travelling back an fourth to Brixham, I had a caravan on seasonal pitches throughout the surrounding area, I bought two brand new jet ski's from a local dealer & bought & sold various boats locally, I hate to think how much fuel I bought from the garage on the way into Brixham & money spent in shops, pubs, clubs & restaurants aswell as marina moorings & car parking fees but sadly now due to social media mainly fb groups & the comments from generally from what I believe to be older generations I have no interest in going there ever again which is a gr8 shame.

I know Brixham well. I was on a coach trip and it broke down in Brixham. Replacement coach arrived and off we went. On the way back the replacement coach broke down in Brixham. Nice fish n chips. Not very good coaches

Oh you poor mad fools, Brixham is the most horrible, boring, soul destroying and horrible place that I've ever lived in. It used to have a multi-storey car park and I used to clean it. One day, an engineer shewed me a metal support that had rusted through with only half an inch of viable steel intact. He told me that it was only that last little bit of metal that was holding it up. It had to be closed immediately. The camp site you're on is windy all the time because its so high up and the wind drives the constant rain into Devon. It's wet for most of the year down there. It took me many years to escape Torbay and when I finally visited my native Sheffield, I discovered it had been replaced by a foreign country that I could only navigate by Satnav.
