- Enchanting performance of Haveli Sangeet - Rasiya - by trio, Nirali Kartik, Ankita Joshi, and Ragini Shankar. Theater Oranjerie, Roermond, Holland. Accompanying them on tabla is Ramkrishna Manohar and on harmonium is Santosh Ghante.
The beauty and joy emanating from Nirali’s singing has been cultured through long years of dedicated practice and perseverance to master the intricacies of Indian classical music. She has performed at music festivals across India and in many European countries. Nirali has collaborated with many world music artists and is the lead vocalist in her band ‘Maati Baani’.
Ankita’s expressive voice and mastery of ragas enlivens rapturous harmony and bliss in the minds and hearts of listeners. In the last 13 years, Ankita trained under the direct guidance of one of India’s greatest classical singers, Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj. She has received many awards and has performed extensively at top venues throughout India.
Ragini delights her listeners with her flawless violin performances of beautiful classical ragas. Since the tender age of four, Ragini has been fortunate to train under her renowned mother Sangeeta Shankar, and her grandmother, the legendary violinist, Padma Bhushan Dr. N. Rajam. Ragini has performed at prestigious music events in India and abroad. - เพลง

Can't believe.. Two women singing in one voice, excellent saath by violinist made this presention a gift from heaven. The playing of tabla made even more rich this rendering. Thank you all for a different kind of sophisticated presentation.

Remember listening to this genre and this particular song many years ago in the vividh bharati daily afternoon program called "anu ranjani"... wonder if they still run such programs on the radio...but those days were very very different...
nobody at home would pay any sort of ear to the stuff that would be broadcast... i would put up with it because a more popular song program would follow that one... realised only much later what gems these songs were... it is so nice to hear these young people still carrying those not-so-popular but a great part of our musical legacy forward like this...amazing...very moving...
