Yep Kirk Hinrich, Jeff Hornacek mixed with John Stockton.
I have three concerns with Reed...
1) Size, obviously. Interested to see how he measures
2) Off ball defense. Gets lost ball watching frequently. I also think he gets bit trying to bait shooters into shooting sometimes because he's good at blocking jumpshots. I think he can improve here because you can tell he's an instinctual and smart player in general.
3) The jump/floaty passes. Probably going to have to cut down on those in the NBA.
One of the best prospects in this class though.
My thoughts exactly when watching.
I think he also gets caught flat footed on defense on the initial first step - definitely needs to work on that, cause you do see his lateral quickness flash on closeouts.
He’s like John Stockton kinda defensively, but looked like the main PG this game too
His Big men are god awful at finishing around the rim. If he’s with the Rockets no way Sengun is missing those easy shots around the rim.
He should have had 10 assists in this game easy!
He looks like a 15 year career in the NBA type of guy
