To the question you asked about tamales; they are a very significant staple to most big occasions but in Navidad it brings families together. The process to make them is very elaborate takes a few hours to just be devoured in minutes like most Mexican food. Tamales means family, unity and happiness to many. Hello guys the reason that tamales are very popular in Mexico during the holidays is because it's the only gift little kids or people got and they're wrapped individually in their own corn husk like a present that's why they're so popular
Tamales are popular all year is the same during the end of the year... the only time when they got more "popular" is in el día de la calendaría, or the 2 of february the ones that get a muñequito/monito in the rosca the reyes invite the tamales...
Guys amazing channel I really love it I’m from Mexico I’m living in Long Island NY Gracias por querer a mi país como ustedes lo hacen un fuerte abrazo y feliz navidad :) 🎁 🎄
I share this from the web. The tamale is recorded as early as 5000 BC, possibly 7000 BC in Pre-Columbian history. Initially, women were taken along in battle as army cooks to make the masa for the tortillas and the meats, stews, drinks, etc. As the warring tribes of the Aztec, Mayan, and Incan cultures grew, the demand of readying the nixtamal (corn) itself became so overwhelming a process, a need arose to have a more portable sustaining foodstuff. This requirement demanded the creativity of the women…..hence the tamale was born.
I’ve in the US for 24 years now, and growing up here it did feel like Christmas until adulthood...in CDMX it feels like Christmas no matter what age I am and I love it and miss it. I was just telling my girlfriend we need to make our way down there during the holidays

Atole is made with corn starch and usually can be different flavors like strawberry, coconut, vanilla etc and champurrado is like hot chocolate made with “maseca” instant corn flour. Both delicious miss my Ciudad de México.💛💙
Hola chicos!
Love your videos. Thank you. I moved to Aguascalientes Mexico in Dec. Of 2010 and I love it. And I am honestly not planning on moving back to the states although I have my mother and sis in the states but I just love it so much here. Your videos bring me joy.
Your face when you tasted the atole! Yes sir! Hey has anyone ever told you, you look like Leonardo DiCaprio? At least resemble him? Do forgive me if its been mentioned. And porridge like, idk if I'd describe it that way.... maybe bc porridge to me sounds gross bc I think of something sludgy. 😂😱 I wouldn't know what to compare it to either.
Goyo is going to end up in a Novela!
I thought he resembles Leonardo DiCaprio also!
Fuck leonarrdo this is ths fuking god
That Atole was life changing!!
This is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thank you for sharing! awwww I miss mi mexico lindo y querido!!!!
Jajajjaajjajj
@@Vadjansama Vandan Degoni whoever gets the monito gets to invite the tamales or the rosca it's not the other way around
@@ramonignacioloyavaldez7750 Exactly as I say.. is only the Tamales for the 2 not the rosca.
That's from an old joke.....Why do Mexicans have tamales for Christmas? So they can have something to unwrap.
Empecé a ver sus vídeos y valla qué me encantaron! Saludos desde Córdoba, Veracruz! Ya tienen un suscriptor más👏❤❤

El secreto del ponche es que se endulza con piloncillo
@Hugo Alvarado Si lleva caña y canela pero si endulza con piloncillo
