FNaF has come far. From one man’s last project before giving up completely, to a massive franchise with a big budget movie just three weeks away. It’s kind of inspiring…
One thing everyone doesn’t seem to talk about is Mike’s fear of the animatronics. I love how the trailer makes it clear that mike is terrified to the point that he actually feels like how a person would have fear for something.
Would've been funny to actually have his reaction at some point in the FNaF franchise. Especially in Sister Location where he gets kidnapped and scooped and we never hear his voice in all of that.
I've never played the games, but Markiplier and MatPat have got me to love the story and the lore of the games. I am so freaking excited to see this. I remember when there was a time that this movie was just rumors. I'm seeing it in theatres to support the film financially and hope that it is able to spawn a full trilogy.
Me neither so i decided to watch this movie, it was intriquing to see this live-acted. Despite the fans dissapointment to this, i found this amusing film 👍 5/10.
I don't even know what to feel or think, it's hard to believe this is actually happening. Even if the movie sucks getting a movie done out of what started as a small indie game is such an achievement. Can't imagine Scott's feelings regarding this, he must be so proud.
The movie is 3 hours long or close to it.Its 3 hours long cause of the name 5 nights,u spent 5 nights at the pizzeria as a security guard and every shift is from 12 am to 6am,so i dont get the complains for being 3 hours long as people in the beggining wanted a 52 hour long movie
It's refreshing to see how PERFECTLY they adapted the animatronics into real life! Studios might finally be learning how to adapt video games into live action!

I remember hearing the words "Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier and welcome to Five Nights at Freddy's..." like it was yesterday and now there's a movie...That happened 9 years ago people...9 YEARS! I couldn't be more excited and happy that this little indie game, became something more than we coud've ever imagined. Hats off to Scott

I remember walking into a five below, seeing a fnaf card and thinking “that’s a creepy looking pizza place” I told my family, pointed, and said “why would anybody want to take their kid there?” That was 8 years ago. I played fnaf 1 the same year. Its been a wild ride folks. I hope MattPatt keeps his sanity after this. XD
After watching, it was so worth the wait. Personally from me, ignore every thing a critic says. This film is for us, the fans. The ones who have followed it for years. This is everything we could ask for. Thank you to everyone who got this made and a big thanks to the man himself, Scott Cawthon. Thank you Scott. Take care buddy.

I mean, not the WHOLE Fandom. My friend who hated Security Breach but loved the original games saw the trailers and said he hated everything he saw in it, he thinks the movie is gonna go over terribly and ruin the franchise. Meanwhile I just hate the cracked out eyes.
What I love about the FNAF series is that no matter what they release, there is always mystery and you are inclined to go and buy whatever they put out. Thats what makes FNAF a legendary series
I watched it yesterday, and yes, it’s all the hype! Except for the fact that it’s not a horror film, it’s a thriller, story first, and horror later. Like the original games.
But the games barely had any story apart from the minigames. Did you play the games at all? The game was always horror first and story 2nd. Literally had so many jumpscares
@@playboss101 the story/lore is basically all the help you need to understand the games. The story follows a night guard surviving 5 nights at Freddy’s Pizzeria. And that’s a story for each one apart from fnaf 4. Which follows [whatever name] afton’s death and is now facing nightmares of these animatronics.
I really love the change of the eyes from red in the first trailer, to yellow in this one and even dark. It really makes the animatronics look more menacing while staying true to the actual games more. I can't wait for this movie to come out!
I think we need to give Scott a huge thank you for the years of entertainment and joy that he has brought to so many people by creating this amazing franchise
The movie was amazing, especially from someone who started out terrified of FNAF as a kid, and then grew to be a massive fan. It makes sure any fan of the games has a good time, and everyone I saw the movie with, some of which were not fans, loved it. Big props to you guys!

Honestly can we talk about how awesome these animatronics look? They are literally exact replicas of their models in FNAF 1. Blumhouse at the very least deserve points for accuracy

I cannot express how good the animatronics look, imagine being on set with them all day. It's not often something made for a game looks better portrayed in real life but the animatronics here are absolutely terrifying.
I'm so glad they got the Hensons to make the animatronics. ❤ They couldn't have picked anyone better for the job. Plus I like Lillard, he's a good actor.
No they aren’t at all. They look way too clean and animated. It looses its appeal on reality. You gotta be 7 to find this terrifying but even than it wouldn’t be. I’m a fnaf enjoyer but honestly this just looks goofy rather than scary. If they made the animatronics look kinda worn down and they didn’t use cgi for some of them like the cupcake this would have been good but this trailer just looked way too goofy

Seeing it being about the main 5 again after so many games is genuinely such a treat and honestly meaningful. These 5 animatronics were literally the beginning of FNaF, together they are the face of FNaF, not just Freddy himself. These 5 are the most memorable and loved and they hold so much meaning to us because they were the faces we were all introduced to and loved meeting through a terrifying scare, and because of them, they were able to explode FNaF into such a massive fun experience. And now, we get to spend time with them again in a movie all their own and watch the band shine once more!
As someone who has been a fan of this franchise since day 1, I'm super excited to see this movie! Not to mention, I had a huge smile on my face when Springtrap appeared in the last few seconds!

The fact that this all started from an last desperate attempt as an indie developer to make a living and now it’s a MOVIE. It just is crazy, I’m so proud of how far Scott has gone and I’m so hyped for this series that has been with me for 9 years to finally get a movie.
THE KNIFE SWIPE!!!! THAT'S SO META For those who don't know, Matthew Lilard (William Afton in this movie, and also Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo live actions) played one half of the Ghost Face duo in the original Scream. One of his signature moves is to wipe the blood off his knife to keep it clean. Seeing Springtrap do that here made me so happy
I can’t explain how excited I am. From playing as characters at recess in elementary to now being a teenager and still watching and studying the lore. This franchise has turned out to be a huge part of my life and I’m excited to see where it finally all leads.
All i can say is Scott’s journey needs to be recorded and taught to the masses. From a failed game creator to a successful game creator to now a movie that can possibly go into a trilogy.
@@MegaMK13 Keep in mind though it's only a 3-movie deal like Mathew Lillard said. Although due to FNAF having different versions of itself like the games are the main story then the silver eyes novel trilogy is an alternate reality and the graphic novels are another, Spiderverse has a great market and plays a similar aspect with the alters of reality in their own respective ways. Now I know you know where I'm going with this but what if we had alternate version trilogy of FNAF The Silver Eyes trilogy.

I really love that the animitronics look right out of the game, like no trying to make their own 'movie' version look for them, just that exact look from the first game

Hence why it's so bulky and connected at the seam points. Or one of the earlier versions that had some animatronic functions to it.
I’ve been following FNAF since a week after it came out and it’s amazing to see how far it’s gone from being a simple video game to now getting a movie. That’s insane.
To think that years ago, many of us were kids or young teens who played this simple indie horror game. Now look, we're all grown up, most of us with jobs or in college and fnaf is still as big as ever. Can't wait to see this! The animatronic introduction scene where we hear their names with intermittent lights flashing on plus the ominous music in the background is so incredibly effective and well-done! The way the female guard says their names sounds so sad somehow. Also The different angles/shots we get of each of them, combined with variances in background lighting (like red background lighting for Foxy) just gives the sense that they are each distinct in their own way (having their own personalities and stories). the fact that the camera is looking up at them makes them seem so much larger than the viewer, showing how imposing they are.
Are we really giving credit for the most basic concepts of camerawork now? Like I'm sure the director is good and has some great takes but these shots are pretty standard. It's like praising Lewis Hamilton for being able to take a roundabout.

I just got back home from the cinema after watching the FNAF movie and oh my god wow…. It was incredible! (If you haven’t seen it yet let me assure you it was definitely worth the wait) when the credits finally rolled and after leaving the cinema I honestly got a little emotional. I’m sure like most fans, FNAF has played a huge roll in their lives and I certainly have a lot of fond memories from FNAF from when I was younger 8 years ago. 7-8 years ago was when I was along with my friends, were crazy FNAF obsessed. I have a distinct memory of when the FNAF movie was first announced I remember me and my friends all went crazy and were so excited to watch it together but alas life happens and unfortunately we all drifted apart. Now that’s it finally here feels so incredibly surreal and I really hope my old friends get the chance to watch the FNAF movie and I really hope they all enjoy it :) Thank you so much Scott for all the incredible memories and friendships I’ve made because of FNAF and I’m sure like for many others playing a big part in many childhoods, and of course Thank you so much Blumhouse and everyone who worked on the movie for doing an incredible job bringing the animatronics to live and doing and incredible job paying homage to the source material :)
I honestly think this is the scariest trailer we’ve gotten. Like seeing Afton lurking in the darkness coming to kill Mike is genuinely pretty freaky to me ,but I love it so much!
i remember how the beginning of this franchise absolutely terrified me. my older brother would play it and I’d get nightmares from the jump scares and the new characters that they would constantly release. I’m still not a big horror fan but it’s truly epic to see how far FNAF, but I might go see this. This movie is a huge milestone and it’s so great to see that it’s (seemingly) being done right. it’s also a great bit of spotlight for Josh hutcherson and Matthew Lillard, gets them back on the scene.

I still remember when the game came out. Its insane it started to blow up on youtube and just grew and grew until the present day, and it's still growing. Scott is just a legend.

It practically did take a decade to get a movie, the first FnaF game was released over 9 years ago. August 8, 2014 if you want get specific. The movie is going to be released on October 27. With a rough estimate, 10 more months and it would be at the decade mark. Most people are just going to round up the years to the decade anyway.
It's inspiring how this entire franchise is based on one mans final work. And it just took off. He tried one more time, and we are here now. Thank you for not giving up Scott.

FNaFs story is simply amazing. From a single person project about a person trying to survive the night shift to a entirty of more games, and lore and now a giant franchise and even a movie. Its really amazing how much this game has achieved throughout 9 years
Can we take a moment to appreciate how incredible the designer work for the animatronics look? They could have half done their work, made Freddy and crew look like a dumb Cunky Cheese, but we have our OG crew. It's absolutely incredible. I can't wait to go see this with my nieces.

What a crazy journey FNAF has had. What started out as one final attempt at game developing, to changing the horror game franchise as a whole, to getting it's own film adaptation. Scott Cawthon is living proof that you can take harsh criticism and turn it into something legendary.
well, I just saw the premiere of the film in the middle of Halloween and I just wish I had forgotten what I saw so I could watch it again, the film was incredible and I still have a vibe that I went back to 2014, thank you Scott for everything you gave us at throughout these years ❤️

9 years later. Here we are, after many games, comics, theories, songs and animations, since my childhood. HUGE respect to Emma Tammi, directing and constructing this masterpiece of a franchise to come to life. If it wasn't for Scott Cawthon in the beginning... we wouldn't be seeing or be hearing about this at all today. The Five Nights at Freddy's Franchise has came far with a lot of love, commitment and consistency, for not just the any ordinary fans, but the ENTIRE FNAF Community! It's really astonishing to see how far this franchise has come! We went from games to books and then movies, there is really something magical to this.
I love how its only slightly withered and not entirely as we know him, because this is in the 90's and not the year FNAF 3 is supposed to take place. So Springtrap would obviously be more withered by the time 3 takes place.

The little girl’s “hello” is SO accurate to the voiceover from the game, I’m so excited for this movie as a long-term FNAF player it really is the only animatronic franchise that hits hard, so exciting!
Remember being so into this game in high school, never got to play it myself but loved watching my favorite gamers play it. Been waiting for a movie since the beginning and now we finally got it! So proud of the creators and everyone who made this possible, can't wait to see it!
Considering this series started out as an indie game nearly 10 years ago, and is getting a major motion picture, you have to give Scott credit for creating something that is a significant part of pop culture nowadays. Whether it's good or not, I'm still seeing it! I can't wait to see it!
As excited as I am, forgive me for being a little nervous about how they portray the series. I hope they make it a scary and thriller like experience just like the games were. I know studios have a tendency now to steer towards making them silly (The banana splits movie - I'm looking at YOU) however I trust Uni and hope they stay true to what Scott has always envisioned.
Considering that Scott was heavily involved in this film, whatever comes out is what he approved and wanted us to see. Whatever the movie ends up being, it's ultimately Scott's vision.

I like how accurate the animatronics look to the game design. They look ridiculous in live action but that might work for the overall feel of the movie. I’m a little skeptical of how it could turn out but BH is normally good at horror movies so I’ll give it a shot.

I watched it yesterday, and yes, it’s all the hype! Except for the fact that it’s not a horror film, it’s a thriller, story first, and horror later. Like the original games.
This is the best way to describe the movie, I loved the movie so much 😭
But the games barely had any story apart from the minigames. Did you play the games at all? The game was always horror first and story 2nd. Literally had so many jumpscares

And that’s a story for each one apart from fnaf 4. Which follows [whatever name] afton’s death and is now facing nightmares of these animatronics.

I cannot express how good the animatronics look, imagine being on set with them all day. It's not often something made for a game looks better portrayed in real life but the animatronics here are absolutely terrifying.

Seeing it being about the main 5 again after so many games is genuinely such a treat and honestly meaningful. These 5 animatronics were literally the beginning of FNaF, together they are the face of FNaF, not just Freddy himself. These 5 are the most memorable and loved and they hold so much meaning to us because they were the faces we were all introduced to and loved meeting through a terrifying scare, and because of them, they were able to explode FNaF into such a massive fun experience. And now, we get to spend time with them again in a movie all their own and watch the band shine once more!

The animatronic introduction scene where we hear their names with intermittent lights flashing on plus the ominous music in the background is so incredibly effective and well-done! The way the female guard says their names sounds so sad somehow. Also The different angles/shots we get of each of them, combined with variances in background lighting (like red background lighting for Foxy) just gives the sense that they are each distinct in their own way (having their own personalities and stories). the fact that the camera is looking up at them makes them seem so much larger than the viewer, showing how imposing they are.
there was literally only one colour differnce for foxy, and all the rest were closeups of the faces, only foxy was shot from a low angle 💀
Are we really giving credit for the most basic concepts of camerawork now? Like I'm sure the director is good and has some great takes but these shots are pretty standard. It's like praising Lewis Hamilton for being able to take a roundabout.

I just got back home from the cinema after watching the FNAF movie and oh my god wow…. It was incredible! (If you haven’t seen it yet let me assure you it was definitely worth the wait) when the credits finally rolled and after leaving the cinema I honestly got a little emotional. I’m sure like most fans, FNAF has played a huge roll in their lives and I certainly have a lot of fond memories from FNAF from when I was younger 8 years ago. 7-8 years ago was when I was along with my friends, were crazy FNAF obsessed. I have a distinct memory of when the FNAF movie was first announced I remember me and my friends all went crazy and were so excited to watch it together but alas life happens and unfortunately we all drifted apart. Now that’s it finally here feels so incredibly surreal and I really hope my old friends get the chance to watch the FNAF movie and I really hope they all enjoy it :) Thank you so much Scott for all the incredible memories and friendships I’ve made because of FNAF and I’m sure like for many others playing a big part in many childhoods, and of course Thank you so much Blumhouse and everyone who worked on the movie for doing an incredible job bringing the animatronics to live and doing and incredible job paying homage to the source material :)

i remember how the beginning of this franchise absolutely terrified me. my older brother would play it and I’d get nightmares from the jump scares and the new characters that they would constantly release. I’m still not a big horror fan but it’s truly epic to see how far FNAF, but I might go see this. This movie is a huge milestone and it’s so great to see that it’s (seemingly) being done right. it’s also a great bit of spotlight for Josh hutcherson and Matthew Lillard, gets them back on the scene.

It practically did take a decade to get a movie, the first FnaF game was released over 9 years ago. August 8, 2014 if you want get specific. The movie is going to be released on October 27. With a rough estimate, 10 more months and it would be at the decade mark. Most people are just going to round up the years to the decade anyway.

His early games were very different but they did not sell well. The first FNaF was Scott’s last attempt at making a game.

Can we take a moment to appreciate how incredible the designer work for the animatronics look? They could have half done their work, made Freddy and crew look like a dumb Cunky Cheese, but we have our OG crew. It's absolutely incredible. I can't wait to go see this with my nieces.
ikr, the animatronics are done so well, i will say that Springtrap looks kind of like a really old chucky cheese animatronic but that actually makes sense considering how old the suit is, it's very interesting

What a crazy journey FNAF has had. What started out as one final attempt at game developing, to changing the horror game franchise as a whole, to getting it's own film adaptation. Scott Cawthon is living proof that you can take harsh criticism and turn it into something legendary.

well, I just saw the premiere of the film in the middle of Halloween and I just wish I had forgotten what I saw so I could watch it again, the film was incredible and I still have a vibe that I went back to 2014, thank you Scott for everything you gave us at throughout these years ❤️

9 years later. Here we are, after many games, comics, theories, songs and animations, since my childhood. HUGE respect to Emma Tammi, directing and constructing this masterpiece of a franchise to come to life. If it wasn't for Scott Cawthon in the beginning... we wouldn't be seeing or be hearing about this at all today. The Five Nights at Freddy's Franchise has came far with a lot of love, commitment and consistency, for not just the any ordinary fans, but the ENTIRE FNAF Community! I cannot wait to hangout with the boys at the cinemas to watch this masterpiece of a movie, memories will be created and remembered here. Dedicated to this movie. Thank you. 🙏

I love how its only slightly withered and not entirely as we know him, because this is in the 90's and not the year FNAF 3 is supposed to take place. So Springtrap would obviously be more withered by the time 3 takes place.

The little girl’s “hello” is SO accurate to the voiceover from the game, I’m so excited for this movie as a long-term FNAF player it really is the only animatronic franchise that hits hard, so exciting!

Considering this series started out as an indie game nearly 10 years ago, and is getting a major motion picture, you have to give Scott credit for creating something that is a significant part of pop culture nowadays. Whether it's good or not, I'm still seeing it! I can't wait to see it!

As excited as I am, forgive me for being a little nervous about how they portray the series. I hope they make it a scary and thriller like experience just like the games were. I know studios have a tendency now to steer towards making them silly (The banana splits movie - I'm looking at YOU) however I trust Uni and hope they stay true to what Scott has always envisioned.

I like how accurate the animatronics look to the game design. They look ridiculous in live action but that might work for the overall feel of the movie. I’m a little skeptical of how it could turn out but BH is normally good at horror movies so I’ll give it a shot.
