It was initially architected, designed and built single-handedly by Adam Spence uk.linkedin.com/in/spenoir mainly with Backbone.js, Marionette and Require.js. Unfortunately CLJS was considered too risky at the time although we did enjoy using it for internal views of system status and development time tools. Had we used Enlive (at least at the beginning) I think we could have done more front-end/back-end work in parallel.
