What a beautiful surprise this snow was. Not everybody was happy about it, of course, but it made for some very cool shots. Is seems that the Monochrom suits you very well. Great work, my friend👏👏👏❄️

Octavian - I’m a fan. I appreciate your eye for composition. Any thoughts on the difference you find in shooting a Q2 vs. Q2M? While the images in this video are great I don’t see much difference in dynamic range or contrast than from the Q2.

All are very nice, but no. 19 gave me this warm feeling. I think a monochrome camera is just perfect for street shooting in snow.

I like it a lot! Snow gives perfect black and white conditions. Did you do a lot of post-processing considered the raw files tend to have not so much contrast as I read in many reviews?
Glad you liked it Luuk ! I did give it a bit of contrast push indeed, increased the blacks, deepen the shadows, boosted the whites added a vignette and that's all :)

Thanks a lot Darius :) I used a high ISO - 1600, a fast shutter speed and f 9- f 11 but also f2 or 1.7 for different shots.

Short but sweet, Octavian. Animated text effects work well, IMO.
Big of you to brave the snow and endure challenges of wet gear, cold batteries, exposures for snow that don’t look grey, and slippery going. Kudos for meeting the challenges - don’t see many snow street photography posts.
Favs are 5 (chasing fellow photographer, 6, 9, and 18 (folks coping), and 11 (perspective).
How much exposure compensation did you use to render white snow accurately?
Noticed you did not wear gloves - ever try one of those “made for photographer” models with finger cut-outs? Hope you went for a hot beverage after the session😊. Cheers!

Oh :) well ... snowing like this is very rare as well in Brussels. The last snow like this one was 11 years ago :) Probably next one will be in 20 years hehe
