- Blind corners and hardcore G-forces make the AMP circuit like a mini Appalachian Nürburgring. I’ve driven on some of the world’s fastest and most challenging circuits and this one really surprised me. It has one of the longest, fastest corners I’ve ever tackled - you can take it flat, just, but probably not every lap. As for the twisty stuff, it’s FULL ON.
The helmet camera couldn’t cope LOL and flew off into the footwell so you’ll have to settle for a birdseye view which doesn’t do justice to the vision in the cockpit or the activity inside haha.. Most of these corners are blind. If you don’t have a plan before you arrive, you’re going off.
I loved the track and the racers that inhabit the place - the Praga R1 was exceptional. We set it up just right with enough mechanical grip in the sharper corners, with a consistent balance for that insanely long high speed sequence. More to come 😊 1min 15.29 seconds
I just wish I could hear Jeremy's voice describing the lap and naming corners.

Yes, this is the former Stig, but since this is a US track I’d prefer a US personality doing the narrating. How about Randy Pobst?!
This track holy cow it's glorious! My favourite parts are 1:13 with that right-hand kink exactly after a rise like it's designed to throw you off and the final three long sweeping curves. Crazy fast T14 and T15 that just don't end and when they finally do you're already have to be set up for another crazy fast sweeper the other way!

Moses sandals, they have REALLY nailed the styling on this thing! It has actually taken 1st place as my favourite supercar from Koenigsegg! Even though it looks extreme it's so subtle at the same time, a very difficult thing to pull off, makes a Veyron in any form look like a big lump of ugly! Congrats to the design team, you should be very proud and satisfied with your work.
Wow...that Praga makes that beautiful track seem very short!

I really wish Ben could take these cars around Dunsfold. In an older series of Top Gear, Jeremy did a test between modern cars vs classic racers and joked that one day you'll be able to buy a car as fast as a V10 Renault F1 car. I think he's probably right. 20 years on, I bet some of these cars could get around Dunsfold in under a minute.

Amazing lap! You made it seem so much easier than it really is. It was a pleasure for my son and I to meet you at the track. Hopefully, will see you again soon since it looks like you’ll have to get another video with the helmet cam and try to beat your own record! ✌🏼🏁

Glad you had a chance to experience my "home track." It's still a bit of a hidden gem. Been karting there many times over the past 5 years or so and recommend it highly to anyone nearby! Well done Mr. Stig!
I love how the barriers for a not insignificant portion of the track are just large mounds of dirt and foliage.

It's certainly a rollercoaster!
The elevation change is quite fun, and as usual the effect in person is greater than you can capture on a camera.

It pays to be quite precise with the R1, if you get the nose in well then you can get the hammer down fast n hard

Ya cone good , Ben! I managed to keep my hands off the OS bar the whole way- but just barely! Great drive- and a great car- it seemed to go and stay where ever you put it o the track. I think I might want a seat belt next time!
