RIP to a fantastic place filled with some incredible and amazing memories. Tropical Fun Zone will be dearly missed by the thousands of inhabitants who liked to go there to spend countless hours of fun and relaxation playing games. Bye TPZ looking forward to what goes there in the future. Great video Joe
@@JJGeneral1 I wouldn't doubt it your videos are great my girlfriend watched it she said hey that's the guy in your picture your with I said yep he is an awesome guy and I'm glad I got to meet him keep up the great work I will support you all the way
It was fun. The owner definitely tried to make it a "be all" place with bumper cars, mini bowling, laser tag, jungle gym, food, and the games. I think it was just in a bad location and didn't see the amount of traffic it deserved.
I know. Unfortunately, I think TFZ was one of those places that went to other places and either "borrowed" or bought old token from all kinds of sources. They didn't have their own tokens. Some said "car wash", some said "DnB", some said "Chuck E Cheese"... etc.
I wish they would've kept filling it back up to let me see how many exactly I won. Oh well, it's not a big deal. I gave away most of the tickets anyway!
RIP Tropical Fun Zone - such great memories there. Glad I at least own the Big Haul game that was there!
That is awesome. You'll always have a part of it!

Thanks, Chris! Really going to miss TFZ!
Wow, so sad! We do have a Wonder Wheel! May have to try and play it now, in memory of TFZ! Xoxo Jessie and James
Good luck!
This arcade brought back memories. If my memory is correct, I believe this arcade is where I watched one of the first arcade nerds and journey videos
Possibly!
Nice arcade, sad to see it go. At least you can keep the great memories you had of the place.
Yeah. It was a fun place. Definitely do miss it!
I wish I could of made it to this arcade before it closed! Great video JJGeneral1!
You would've had fun there, Kelso. So many older games that aren't around anymore.

@@JJGeneral1 I'm not gonna lie, when that music started playing near the end of the video I started to tear up.
Sorry Adam! Like I said in the video, it felt like losing a good friend.

Their coins were purchased from sales of others, they didn't have their own coins, unfortunately.
JJGeneral1 Arcade yes it has a gorilla and it says wildside
@@jobmclane7284 Really? I didn't know tropical fun zone had any of their own tokens.
JJGeneral1 Arcade Not sure it doesn’t say tropical fun zone It just says wildside with a gorilla
JJGeneral1 Arcade But i’m pretty sure I got it from there because That was one of the few places I went with my grandmother a lot.
Never made it to this place before it closed but it looked like alot of fun!

It’s Game Over for Tropical Fun Zone in 2018
It’s a shame. It was a great place, too.
Unfortunately, arcade tokens, along with the games that use them, are an endangered species.

Hi Joe. I haven’t slept yet!
No? LOL!
Its so sad to see arcades go x.x
I know. It was hard even making this video, putting together the clips. Like I said in the video, it's like losing a close friend.
