The fan in the video hasn't done anything wrong; The security have no reason at all to be so rough. As for the comment that it's all an act - pls use your common sense if you have any. It's the 21st century. Almost every cell phone and digital camera have video mode.
however, Andy Liu was born in Hk, and he probably never experienced a situation like that..and hes angry that his fan was beat up by the security gaurd..but the truth was "hes holding a concert in China."..

And in the video, the action by the security guards seemed to be proper and nessesary to me..because that fan was not allowed to do that..
this is not a heroic video..guys..as I am chinese, I understand that sometimes accidents happen in concerts in china.. for example, fans try to use knife or chemical liquid to assault the singers on stage..therefore, security is especially stricted...
Andy is very protective of his fans. I've seen him in concerts where fans broke the line and to give him flowers. and when security pulls them away (not beating up), Andy always say to the guards to "take it easy." i think the chinese guards in the clip need to know how to be protective and courteous at the same time. they are hired to protect the singer but not to beat up his fans! that's called professionalism for any bodyguards.
what the fan did wasn't allowed but that doesn't mean "illegal" as there is no LAW against that. please don't confuse the word. and just because the fan broke this rule, doesn't mean the guards are allowed to ATTACK the guy. their behavior was thuggish and totally unprofessional. the fan wasn't attacking or trying to attack Andy. the guards had no reason to pound on him. all they needed to do is pull him back to the line. that's why Andy was so angry.
