Great video , I’m Australian born live in Malta I have the e2008 had it since September absolutely loving the car. First in depth video of the car on the tech side 👍
I thoroughly enjoyed this review of the Peugeot e-208. I have the Yellow one on order with an expected build in April 2022, so I am hungry for all the TH-cam reviews of the e-208. This particular review is just what I needed. Full of relevant facts and delivered by a beautifully spoken young man with very sweet diction and vocabulary. I am fussy about the English language being spoken fluently and clearly as I am an English Teacher to foreign students. Congratulations on an excellent review.
I found myself watching all the reviews on the e208 in the month's before mine arrived too! It's how I realised nobody seems to be talking about the tech in the car, which is what inspired me to start this channel. I wish you the best of luck with the car! PS: The small steering wheel every other review complains about is probably the most comfortable thing ever...
Have pearl white one , now driven for a month and so far very happy, thanks for the reviews, it helped a lot when making the, decision, besides just seeing and sitting in it, a very nice car, lots of extras you don't get in a car this size
Hi Luke, well done for the video. Since Autumn is now nearly over, did you get a longer range with lower temperatures? What max range have you managed?
Hi Marco, thanks for your comment. Good question. The maximum range the car has given me was 360km, 20km more than WLTP, however admittedly not as good as I thought it would do. Dad has managed 80km more on the Zoe locally. I might be a bit more trigger happy on the gas pedal though hehe.
Groupe PSA is now Stellantis (since January 2021). Very informative information especially the amount of days between charges. Just a little question, do you charge at home and at which charging rate? We will have a 3.6kW wall-box as part of a car deal and although another car will be joining our private "fleet".
I am charging at home on a 3-phase supply at the car's maximum 11Kwh (with the 3-phase option). Using the 3.6Kwh wall box this car will take 13.8 hours for a full charge (side note - you will never actually charge from 0% to full). On a single phase supply I would not recommend anything faster than 3.6Kwh since the next step up at 7kwh can easily overload the home's supply.
@@TheFutureisElectric Great video thanks. I collect my year old (2023) GT tomorrow so the excitement is real at the moment. Regarding the 7kwh charging, its worth noting that this is entirely dependant on the homes main fuse into the premises. Mine was 60amp by default, and you are correct left as such it could easily trip that if a lot of high draw appliances were on at there same time. However you can usually get this main fuse upgraded to 80 or 100a free of charge by you local power distributor (here in the UK anyway) and then 7kw is not a problem at all.
From the UK, had this for a week and I love it 😁
this is probably the most educational video I have seen on Peugeot 208 and electric cars in general. Great stuff..
Mariano thank you for taking the time to see the video and for leaving this comment. I greatly appreciate it, new video is out this weekend :)

One of the most informative videos I've seen about the inner workings of this excellent little car 👌
Thanks Matthew!

@@TheFutureisElectric thanks, having been to Malta I can see how useful this car would be there.
