- Today I'm opening up my first Ruby CCC box. I've been ripping the Sapphire box for a while now, and I thought it was time to kick things up a notch! And I'm kicking off the Age of Ruby by bringing my CCC box into battle against Mike, aka @CardManic!

Nice Lowery Number, love the Jimmy Spectra Debuts, that insert set doesn't get a lot of love. 7min mark, WHAT IS THAT!!! so trippy, Singapore exclusive, did MR T sign that card. lol.

The Chinese grading company is actually really good and strict, some of their gradings of 9 and 9.5 get 10s for psa after regrading.

Got a bunch of numbered cards but unfortunately not enough to win this battle! Nice to see some different packs in the Ruby box, the Chronicles hobby was a nice addition, but overall I still feel like there’s a lot to be desired from the overall pack selection. The value is mostly there on a per-pack basis, but they still throw in too many that I wouldn’t really want to open again like Hoops Premium Stock, 2017 Donruss, and 2021 Revo CNY. I’ll be interested to see if there’s some different stuff next time!
I could definitely do without any more Draft Picks or Season Update packs. I liked the rest.

Some go into future Sage's Surprise Packs. Base card duplicates go into a giant stack in the corner. 😄 The Jamal is in my PSA stack; it looked flawless.
I am not a fan of the packs in ccc in either box level
GBTC is a Chinese stamp and coin grading company. I usually crack them out and the grades are fairly strict so it should grade well at PSA. Love these videosssssss. lol Mr. T hahahhahahha

Those China sellers on eBay have tons of good stuff, so many SSP cards and goldwave stuff, shipping sucks for the price, but it usually still comes out cheaper than buying from US sellers.
Yeah, depending on what you're buying, you can get some good deals.

I take current box prices and divide by the # of packs, and then add a little extra value to account for single pack costs.

why would anyone buy these boxes when you get below value packs, including some of the most trash packs ever.
Not sure what you mean. The pack value was very solid.
@@SageTheCollector wouldnt you be better off just buying a random assortment packs yourself? Would be less and you wouldnt end up with trashy low end packs.
@@joshcornell7013 No, it would be more expensive to buy each pack individually. You'd probably have to pay a little bit more for the packs, and you'd probably have to pay sales tax and shipping on each individual pack.
@@joshcornell7013 I also do a Hobby vs. Retail series of videos where I buy my own hobby packs. I like sub boxes because I get to open packs I probably never would otherwise.
